During Mayfest I got this shot of the sound man making stage checks for sound as he moved around the park to get the best sound from the stage for all.
Just out of Picton, the Interislander heads deeper into the sound.

Milford Sound - what more can I say? Such a beautiful location. This six-shot panorama was taken from a moving boat so needed to be taken fairly quickly. Pretty happy with the result and very happy with being there on such a beautiful winter's day.

Eons ago there were hills and valleys at the northern end of NZ's South Island. Now the sea has flooded in and made sounds. Seen from Air NZ shortly after take-off from Wellington on our way home.
Although one of the most beautiful locations in the world, she still often hides herself in clouds and fog. (Milford Sound on South Island New Zealand)

Finished this painting few days back and good to be splashing colors, Experimenting with new technique inspired by great artists. And it brings me happiness when i take inspiration and create art works in my own way.
It is always challenging to create an artwork on a big canvas. I love challenges and i enjoy every moment of creating an art work. This painting came out as i expected and i am happy about it. Hope to create few more of this type. I fell in love with great artist Jackson Pollock creations. I thought why not create something in my own way. I am glad i did it with few tries.
Hope to experiment lot more in the coming days as i dont stick to one art form. For me, art brings joy and Happiness crossing the boundary of any art form. If i like it then i will surely create it.
Unfortunately my friend who handle my website is stuck in his native, so i am not able to upload any new work of mine yet. Hope i will be doing it soon.

Sound of Silence - Disturbed
It's hard to describe Milford Sound, other than one of the most amazing places I've visited.
The sheer scale of the Fiord is difficult to show - the boat in the bottom right is actually two storeys high and looks ridiculously small amongst the cliffs and the nearby Bowen Falls.
We were very fortunate to visit Milford Sound/Piopiotahi again recently. A great day for it. Milford Sound is a fiord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island located at the top of Fiordland National Park. The scenery is hard to describe. Natural beauty: serene, tranquil, spiritual. The mountains and deep fiords commands respect. It is also one of the wettest spots in New Zealand so dramatic cloud cover and some drizzle is to be expected.
