Went for a walk along the San Juan River in Pagosa Springs and found this little beauty out sunning. These little snakes seldom try to bite.

If i'm 100% honest this was just an opportunity to try out my new ring flash with a macro shot!
I liked the "smooth" label on this hard drive chip, I thought it went well with the bokeh produced by the 100mm macro!
A special note for YN560 flash owners; The Rayflash for the Canon 580 EX ii fits the YN560 perfectly, so don't do what I did and buy a 580 if you don't need to!
I used the Sony smooth reflections app to make this. Not sure if it's a great replacement for ND filters yet.
Crews working on the 92nd Avenue Northeast lid continued progress on the concrete deck while the highway was closed on Feb. 8, 2014.
This is a fabric tapestry. No batting, no quilting. Just patchwork, stitched onto a fabric foundation and backed with a whole cloth panel.
