Thes birds are all over the island. They are very skittish and don't like it when you try to approach them slowly so you can take thier picture. Ok, the don't like it when you do it quickly either, but that's kind of a given.
They are primarily insectivors, which surprises me with a beak like that. I thought for sure it poked around for nuts or something. Interesting breeding habits too, you can check it all out here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smooth-billed_Ani
