This was so freaking cool! After taking my 3D xray scan they are able to slice my jaw up and look at where my teeth and nerves are. In my lower jaw on both sides the wisdom teeth roots have sandwiched my nerve and after an intense discussion with my surgeon it has been decided to leave them in as the risk of my nerves being damaged.
Winding up with a permanently numb face/lips/tongue would kind of suck, so instead just need to keep up good oral hygiene and see a dentist regularly.

Inspired by the hit series Dexter and its character, Dexter Morgan, this shirt advertises a non-existent American butchery. At a particularly great party, though, you might be able to convince someone that this is a legitimate business. Or, of course and conversely, it makes a great ice-breaker for fellow fans of the series. It also makes a great gift for the Dexter fan in your life! Get a slice of life today!
Close up of the front BOOK END FRIENDS
------------
BOOK END FRIENDS- A book is worth a thousand pictures! This project is made using a Verna charm pack. It also has linen, a few scraps for "pictures" and embroidery. The buckle holds the books tight, and the strap is adjustable depending on the width of books to hold. There are wood 2x8's in the book ends themselves to hold them sturdy. The front is backed with batting and quilted with loops. The strap is fused with Thermolam fleece.

My 1st entry for the Moda Bake Shop's Sliced competition!
Ingredients: 4 Domestic Bliss Charms, foam core board, batting, rectangle picture frame, gray linen, decorative elastic, and two buckles! It is a versatile project with clean lines and could easily be hung in an office or studio-- I can't wait to hang it above my desk in my "studio."
i cannot for the life of me decide if i like this or hate it. i don't think i hate it... i submit with hesitation..i might've oversliced..
and on a final note, after submitting, i realize it doesn't quite fit the assignment..as it's only one photo, not multiple
aka Conch. Thinly sliced, par-boiled/poached in milky fish stock. Sweet, unadulterated, simple flavours. Topped with strips of noir, sliced green onions and atop hearty smooth bricks of firm tofu. So clean, so good. I spooned up every bit of the stock I could get my hands on.
Known for their fish soups/stocks from scratch, Omega 3 satisfied any cravings for pure wholesome goodness. Simple and clean flavours, without the MSG. Even their fish balls, etc are all made in store from scratch. Pick your choice of proteins, your noodles and soups. The flavours are very light (which I like), so be prepared if you like things overly seasoned (i.e. not on the bland side). If only they had a downtown location.

I'm in the Villains issue of Slice Magazine. Check it out. There's an interview with Alan Moore (of 'Watchmen'), an interview with Jonathan Safran Foer (author of 'Eating Animals'), an illustration by Sarah McNeil, and great cover art by Caitlin Hackett.
Dromedary Sliced Pimientos. Simple, yet definitely not something you'd see created anew today. Maybe they could put it in a shapely metal can or funky glass and rename it to Zap or Pims or Ximientos.
another easy pattern from easypatchwork teaching techniques such as partial seams, a selvage tag, slice blocks and offset borders. Quilt designed and sewn by Karen Ackva. Quilted by QD Service. Pattern available for purchase.

People sitting on the edge of the Kennedy Greenway's fountain (shut off for the winter months), several of them eating slices of pizza they probably bought across the street in the North End. It was the first week of February but the temperatures were in the 60s. This was a pretty big crowd for a Tuesday afternoon in the middle of winter. Actually the New England Patriots' Super Bowl LIII Victory Parade -- watched by a million-and-a-half viewers, one of whom was me -- had just ended nearby.
