Simplicity ~ i took many shots today - but this was my favourite ~ no editing - i like the curves and the simple lines and colour

vintage 1966 simplicity pattern. My pattern was size 12, and I had to grade up several sizes. I left off the ruffle detail.

Early drafts of this WH Smith sandwich packaging had a fourth ingredient in their 'recipe', Taste.

Simplicity 8098; ©1969; Misses' Culotte-Dress in Two Lengths and Unlined Jacket: The culotte-dress with back zipper and high round neckline has lowered waistline seam. The deep pleat in front and back camouflages the culottes. V. 1 & 2 are mini length. V. 2 has rick-rack trim. Regular length V. 3 with contrasting bodice has purchased belt slipped thru thread carriers below normal waistline. Unlined jacket V. 1 & 3 with long set-in sleeves has front button closing and flaps. V. 1 dress and jacket have braid trim.

Simplicity 8834; ©1970; Misses' Blouses and Tank Top: The blouse V. 1, 2, 3 and 4 with back zipper, has high round neckline and set-in sleeves may be worn with purchased belt. Button trimmed V. 1 and 2 with short sleeves feature contrasting neck band. V. 3 and 4 with long sleeves have "bias-roll" collar. Sleeveless and collarless tank top V. 4 and 5 have back zipper and low round neckline.

some flowers that were in the bouquet celebrating the birth of my second child. Now dried and living on my dressing table...I love the shapes and the colours and the passage that is blurred...hope my swap partner likes too...

  

S3929 Simple to make sleeveless dress features a lowered neckline, left side zipper and self fabric tie belt or belt with buckle. Collarless waist length jacket has short set in sleeves, front opening and is fulling lined or faced to the edge. V1 dress has a full gathered skirt. Contrasting jacket has flap detail. V2 dress has a slim skirt with back kick pleat. Dress and jacket have braid trim.

Taken next to The Bread Garden's "kitchen" . . . next door to Peet's.

Made using simplicity pattern 5695. I used a half yard of the paisley and a yard of the criss-cross. Made with quilting cotton from Hobby Lobby.

V. 1 & 3 have straight skirt gathered at waistline. V. 2 & 3 are collarless and sleeveless. V. 1 with contrasting "stand-up" collar and midriff has short set-in sleeves and optional button trim. V. 2 with A-line skirt and optional buttoned flaps may be trimmed with scalloped braid or buttons. V. 3 with purchased belt slipped thru thread-carriers above normal waistline has contrasting bodice, midriff, and skirt.
