Vintage sewing pattern from 1973.

I used Kims Simplicity texture . . .hence the title :-)

Those sleeves looked cuter on the pattern envelope model than on me. For my "real" version I chose the short sleeves.

TEEN-AGE ONE-PIECE DRESS:

The bodice, styled with a low neckline and extended shoulders, is fitted with darts at the front and back waistline. The skirt is gathered at the waist and trimmed with a ruffle simulating an apron. Tie ends extend from the inset belt and fasten into a back bow. Style II has a contrasting bodice.

I found a copy of this at an antique store for $1. The envelope is destroyed and I have no idea what size it is. I'm not sure yet if it's complete. I hope it is; I love the blue version. 2 1/2 yards.

Blogged on wonderment.

While I'm not the target audience for the Ilford Simplicity Starter pack I decided to at least give it a go, and I wish such a kit existed much earlier and I would have been more apt to get into home development!
