Although a relatively simple flower this plant has some interesting properties:
Tanacetum parthenium (feverfew) is a traditional medicinal herb which is commonly used to prevent migraine headaches, and is also occasionally grown for ornament. The plant grows into a small bush up to around 46 cm (18 in) high with citrus-scented leaves, and is covered by flowers reminiscent of daisies. It spreads rapidly, and they will cover a wide area after a few years. It is also commonly seen in the literature by its synonyms, Chrysanthemum parthenium and Pyrethrum parthenium. It is also sometimes referred to as bachelor's buttons or featherfew. (Wikipedia)

JUNIOR MISSES' ONE-PIECE DRESS WITH DETACHABLE COLLAR: The full skirted dress is sleeveless and has a wide, rounded neckline sparked, in View 1, with a lace edged contrasting detachable collar. Ribbon bows accent the ribbon trim on View 2. The neckline of view 3 is outlined with a shaped collar. A bow is tacked at center front of collar.
Pattern pieces are partially cut with Instructions.

This is Simplicity 2215, View D, in Heather Ross Mendocino. I've had this in my stash since summer 2009 and finally decided to just go for it and make a blouse. I'm so glad I did!
1975 western yoked jean jacket or shirt jacket, pockets, pants. Optional embroidery.The top-stitched jacket trimmed with embroidery, nailheads our purchased applique has front and back yokes, front band button closing, shirt type collar, patch pockets with buttoned flaps and long set-in sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Decorative snap fasteners can be used instead of buttons. The top-stitched pants with fly front zipper have buttoned or decorative snap fastened waistband, front yoke and pockets, back yoke, and optional purchased applique.

Here's the back view with no pleats, so much better than the original version. It actual sits without the wrinkle on my bum, it's hard to run into position and use the self-timer on my camera and make sure everything is in place!
