Simplicity 2608; ©1958; Jr. Misses' and Teen Age Overblouse and Skirt: Overblouse has kimono sleeves and a 2 piece collar. Each dart is open at the lower edge. Slim skirt has center back kick pleat. Each garment is made from 1 yard of 54” fabric.

Vintage 1950s Misses' Bodice, Full Skirt, Bodice and Short Jacket Sewing Pattern: a "simple to make" outfit. The fitted bodice is styled with wide shoulder straps. The flared skirt has soft pleats at front waistline. The brief jacket features short kimono sleeves. V1: The bodice and jacket facing are of contrasting fabric. Top-stitching outlines the pockets and center front skirt seam. V2: rick-rack trims this view.

Pattern pieces are cut out and in excellent condition with instructions included. One piece is missing, "D" the back facing, an almost straight piece that will be super easy to duplicate (I will remake it for you if asked).
Envelope is in good vintage condition as seen in the picture.

My 4-year-old has a tender side, and he loves stuffed animals, mostly puppies. Every few days it's a puppy's birthday. I am heavily pregnant and not feeling great, so I am not generally in a celebratory mood for a stuffed puppy's birthday. However, yesterday, I decided to make more of an effort. Amazing how a simple $1 package of crepe paper streamers can make a little boy's entire day. We made cards, strung up the decorations, and wrapped a couple of toys in newspaper. The result was the sweetest party ever, simple as it might have been. :)

Young Junior/Teens' and Misses' Dres in Two Lengths: The "tent-type" dress has high round neckline and center front seam with button closing. Avove knee-length V. 1 with long set-in sleeves gathered at armholes has contrasting collar and cuffs. Regular-length V. 2 & 3 are sleeveless. V. 2 has collar. Top-stitched, collarless V. 3 has breast pocket.
