Simplicity 3847 - 50s style full circle skirt, using up leftover fabric from Tabatha's Crepe dress! This skirt took less than a day to make, including cutting the fabric, and it was a birthday present for my good friend Ophelia Slightly.

Misses' and Women's Blouse
This blouse has an underarm gusset and tiny puffed sleeves. In Styles I and III, ribbon is drawn through the neckline casing and elastic through the sleeve casing. In Style II, embroidered edging at the sleeve and neck edges serves as casing. The blouse may be worn off the shoulders. Top-stitched braid trims Style III.
Notions -- Style I, II and III: 2 spools of thread.
I made this dress already for my mum – and always wanted my own.
It does not fit properly, but I wanted it to be finished for the holidays. When I have some time left and the energy, I will rip all the seams and adjust the upper part once again. Now I don’t feel like putting any more effort into it. Maybe next year as I like the fabric and in general, the shape of the dress.
Reminds me a little of Mozart... mostly structured with a little frill. Not a lot, just a little. And even the frill is structured.
Simplicity 7039 this is a beauitiful sewing pattern which I used to sew flowers girls dresses for my brothers wedding. Implemented my own style by placing bias binding at the end hem of the skirt for effect.

Made from a Swiss dotted cotton that I got at Joann's. This was really great to sew with and the pattern went together easily :)
The back has a funny puffy shape and I had to sew the pleats down to the waistline so that it is wearable.
I decided to change the contrast on this pic...which made the light blue background turn to a white one. I really like the way the monarch stands out. :)
Pocket and invisible zipper detail of Simplicity 2215. The pocket was made in a contrasting navy and white rose print pique which I had left over from another garment!
