"In the simplest terms, an upward nod means a casual “hey” or “what's up”. Downward means “Hello, I see that you exist, but we aren't cool enough for anything more than that”. An unspoken rule about the nod is that it is rarely followed by any verbal exchange." (c) medium.com I get the nod after a thumbs up, photo achieved and move on. This one falls nicely in my Cats and Dogs Album. Central Park South, Nyc 12/8/22
Sometimes, love is found in the simplest moments. Today, I transformed his flannel shirt into a cozy dress and revisited our wedding album by the pond. Reflecting on our far to short journey together. Reminding me of the beauty in the little things.

I love that hour when the mist still lingers, and the light only begins to pierce through its veil. In this soft, milky atmosphere, everything takes on a touch of magic..... even the simplest leaves, even silence.
Under the setting sun, I found a quiet spot among the daisies with my dear Mıstık. As I was enjoying the silent beauty of nature, the moment turned magical when this little rabbit hopped right into my hands. I held it gently, feeling its tiny heartbeat in my palms. This brief connection made a perfect day even more special. Sometimes, the most beautiful things in life are the simplest ones.🐰🐕🌻🌿🍃

Mama told me when I was young
"Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say
And if you do this it'll help you some sunny day"
"Oh, take your time, don't live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass
You'll find a woman and you'll find love
And don't forget, son, there is someone up above"
"And be a simple kind of man
Be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can"

Sometimes, the most beautiful moments hide behind the simplest walls...
Autumn has arrived to color the memories once again 🍁
In need of information inside the police precinct's computer, Qalon decides the simplest way to get it is to come through the front door.
Maybe the real happy ending is falling in love with the simplest parts of life.
It's savoring that first sip of coffee in the morning or losing yourself in the smell of freshly baked bread.
It's driving down familiar roads with the windows down while your favorite song fills the car.
It's lingering on a quiet afternoon listening to the rain outside hitting against the windows.
It's reading the pages of a book you've put off for too long, letting each word wrap around you like an old friend.
It's running into an old friend you haven't seen in awhile and talking like you haven't missed a moment of time.
It's finding an old picture and reminiscing about that moment in time and smiling.
These moments...
the ones that seem so ordinary, but hold a kind of magic that fills the cracks we sometimes forget are there.
And maybe, just maybe, it's finding a piece of joy in the small things we often take for granted.
Like...
Laughter that comes out of nowhere when you remember a moment shared with a special person.
The comfort of a cozy night watching a movie you have seen a hundred times but it brings a smile to your face.
A scent or song that appears and it reminds you of someone you miss or a moment in time you cherish.
It's these little things that pull us back to life and remind us of just how blessed we are...
not because everything is perfect but because we find beauty in what we already have.
I am ready to make new "ordinary" moments.♡

Kinetic: Relating to, caused by, or producing motion.
These are called “Kinetic” photographs because there is motion, energy, and movement involved, specifically my and the camera’s movements.
I choose a light source and/or subject, set my camera for a long exposure (typically around 4 seconds), focus on my subject and push the shutter button. When the shutter opens I move the camera around with my hands...large, sweeping, dramatic movements. And then I will literally throw the camera several feet up into the air, most times imparting a spinning or whirling motion to it as I hurl it upward. I may throw the camera several times and also utilize hand-held motion several times in one photo. None of these are Photoshopped, layered, or a composite photo...what you see occurs in one shot, one take.
Aren’t I afraid that I will drop and break my camera? For regular followers of my photostream and this series you will know that I have already done so. This little camera has been dropped many times, and broken once when dropped on concrete outside. It still functions...not so well for regular photographs, but superbly for more kinetic work.

Simplicity is the queen of writing with light, The origin of the term photography is known to everyone, from Greek phos (genitive photos) light and graphia by graphos drawing, painting, representing.
Light becomes a sign, representation is therefore the simple vision of reality.
A great photographer in the history of photography said:
"Photography is like a joke, if it's bad, you have to explain it."
The simplest is the more visible.
A photo is a story, you do not have to explain it, the elements are lost.
I do not teach, do not determine, I do not recommend.
These are the least acquisitions I have given value over time, I mainly photograph for me.
In my last one I am adopting a micro movement.
I do not like the noise, I do not like it in any way, exaggerations, exaggravations, urlings, corrections and adjustments; That if they find their right space in photography, they will come.
It's life that I talk about, it's not life play.
I will not explain anything anymore, they are my last photos to talk, even so to say, snobed.
You did not really understand, maybe you think, gold is the one of you, but that is not the case.
The title, for example, embracing children, was a different start.
The noise on Sunday was nothing, at that moment when I shot it was the photograph I was interested in.
I do not like the noise, yet I work in deafening noise.
Some people laugh, when at some point, I'm gone, at least who knows me. It is a smile of tenderness.
I notice when, I punch them out ... By good scorpion as I am.
But as they say, good and bad.
You see when a disapproval is used to make you understand the good you have.
I could be more explicit kids, if there were chips flying here and it was only seven in the morning.
I killed you, I know.
But I usually do it, just to jokes that no one understands, I hope they understand at least the picture, the simplest of it is impossible; Next time the cloudless shot.

…But Jonathan Livingston Seagull, unashamed, stretching his wings again in that trembling hard curve - slowing, slowing, and stalling once more - was no ordinary bird.
Most gulls don't bother to learn more than the simplest facts of flight - how to get from shore to food and back again.
For most gulls, it is not flying that matters, but eating.
For this gull, though, it was not eating that mattered, but flight.
More than anything else. Jonathan Livingston Seagull loved to fly…
EXCERPT: Richard Bach. Jonathan Livingston Seagull
A typical North Sea scene.
No matter how many times I'll see this in my life,
I'll always stand in awe and wonder for such beauty, it will never cease to impress me with it's constant variety, this play and display of light.
Peace descends and envelops my soul.
No manipulation nor filters used, none needed!
I prefer taking 'uplifting' images...life is tough enough, there is more than plenty of 'darkness' and 'Angst'...
I am not 'hiding' from reality, only refuse to only live with 'that', I want to show there IS still 'ANOTHER', beautiful, side to it... for those who care to look?
Wishing you a glorious day and thanx for your visit, M, (*_*)

Abandoned station of Buitrago-Gascones
One of the simplest ways to find an abandoned site is to follow a railway line. It is ironic that in a time of high-speed bullet trains, crowded subways and other technological wonders on rails, and that a large part of the rail network is practically abandoned.
In some cases the abandonments are for good, as in the case of greenways, which convert the old railroad tracks, after eliminating the roads, on routes for ecological tourism, on foot or by bicycle.
In other cases, we find the opposite scenario. The tracks are still in place, even in regular use, but the stations have been bricked up and forgotten, or even left to ruin.
This is the case of the Gascones-Buitrago station, located in the northern area of the province of Madrid. The road, in surprisingly good condition, ends in the esplanade of this station.
EAT your Greens
A cabbage leaf, all be it a little sweaty after it came out of the fridge, I tried a few different angles and light combinations, this was the simplest and probably the best.

Sometimes simplest things works best. This old wooden raft, that was floating on one of the Maksimir lakes, caught my attention. This is blend from 3 exposures ( -1, 0 and 1 ), taken on tripod.
