This is the first in a series of artworks. This first one will serve as the source image for all the others that follow. Obviously this is the simplest of the abstract images in this series.
I live in North London, about 5-6 miles from the centre but the powers to be have made it virtually impossible for me to visit these places ever again.
Reasons:
a) For my health and for my physical safety it would be suicidal to travel on public transport out of hours with several thousands worth of gear on my back.
b) The mayor's advice is that if you want to avoid paying the congestion charge of £17.50/day the simplest way is not to drive into central London. There is one day when this waived and that is on Christmas Day!
Somehow I don't see me revisiting my favourite London sights ever again!
Fascism by the back door!
Right now the whole field is filled with blooming Fritillaria in my natural area. A pink shimmer if you go there early in the morning.
I often desire this protected area, with all the wild flowers from the simplest ordinary to unusual as orchids.
Texture: my own.
I try to tackle each subject without any preconceived ideas and without any set attitudes. All I want to do is record the significant moments as they happen in the simplest most direct way I know how, and with a lot of luck, the result is a picture that will give lasting satisfaction. Not only to me, but to its viewers too :-)

Hello amazing Flickr People !!
Today is a red day at Color My World Daily and at Macro Mondays we celebrate sound. Which is very cool since I live with Nu-trix the Synth Guy (www.youtube.com/c/NuTrixTheSynthGuy/about) and he is all about sound…
You have no idea how many pictures and concepts I took for this theme. Nu-trix was very helpful (at the beginning at least lol). Unfortunately, there was always something which I didn’t like about all the pictures we took (yes I can be very, very peaky)…. Eventually Nu-Trix the Synth Guy was done with me and he didn’t want to be involved anymore in this theme and all that crazy process of taking pictures (which may be very, very time consuming…). And he just went swimming in our pool... Well he was on vacation last week so we will not judge him for choosing the pool over my photoshoot…I still love him !
But then it hit me: why not earbuds ? They are human made and used for sound. Also, very stylish and super easy to work with !! Earbuds are our friends !
So I hope you like this picture. Sometimes the simplest idea works so much better !
I wish you all an amazing Monday !! See you later my friends !
Happy CMWD, happy MM to all participants !! And for the rest of us : happy day !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
Happy new week.

Sometimes the simplest of things can turn out to be the most beautiful.
The bright clear sky and the sun glinting off the water behind just gave way to one of the most spectacular, yet simple, images that I had the chance to capture.

Wooden gazebo in the park of the city of Konakovo, Tver region. Russia.
I was hiding in it from the rain.
Surprisingly, the first gazebos appeared about 5000 years ago, and it happened in Ancient Egypt. Then the sale of ready-made gazebos was impossible, and each building had a bright personality. ... According to Egyptian beliefs, the garden personified paradise, and the gazebo was an integral part of it.
A gazebo is a light architectural structure, usually located in a garden or park, with benches and a table, designed to protect from rain and direct sunlight, and used for relaxation and conversation.
The shape of the arbors can be very diverse. The simplest type is four posts covered with a straight or hipped roof; along the bottom, the columns are surrounded by a wall on three sides; with the fourth - the entrance is open; benches go along the walls, and in the middle a table is placed on a fixed bedside table. Arbors, in addition, are polygonal or round.
Gazebos are extremely diverse in terms of their design, appearance and materials used for their construction. Most often they are made from wood, iron and natural stone. In the first case, they are made in Russian, Swiss or Chinese style; in the latter case, they are given a more monumental character and the forms of the ancient classical styles, Greek and Roman, or forms of the Renaissance style are applied to them.
This is for Barb who wrote for me a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet testimonial. Take a look to her marvellous stream.
Thanks my friend. A great surprise

How come
you send me roses,
strike all those poses
that you do?
You already love me –
danation!
My head is spinning, what a sensation,
and it’s spinning for who…
Every now and then I want you from afar,
but sacrifice and sadness is what you are!
And yet, next to you,
I’ll sing myself breathless.
By now, you are like a samba playing over my heart –
you dance, you run wild and incessantly break me apart.
You send me roses, but oh,
this feeling can be such a strange beast!
At times, no, betrayal isn’t enough in the very least,
and all it takes is the simplest gesture to make me complete.
But who are you –
the man who poses
when he brings me roses,
or perhaps, a yes.
You act all smitten with me,
you say you’re desperate,
and crazy for me.
Every now and then I want you from afar
but sacrifice and sadness is what you are!

What does it really mean to be kindred?
Put at its simplest – a kindred spirit is someone who you share a mutual meaningful connection with. The relationship is a positive, supportive one. Kindred spirits will encourage each other to develop as people and offer positive energy to each other.

Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden
The Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden is one of the oldest and most visited Japanese-inspired gardens outside Japan. It is a blend of the ancient hill-and-pond style and the more recent stroll-garden style, in which various landscape features are gradually revealed along winding paths.
The garden features artificial hills contoured around a pond, a waterfall, and an island, along with carefully placed rocks. Architectural elements include wooden bridges, stone lanterns, a viewing pavilion, a Shinto shrine, and a dramatic vermilion-colored wooden torii."
"A torii (Japanese: 鳥居, [to.ɾi.i]) is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred.
The presence of a torii at the entrance is usually the simplest way to identify Shinto shrines, and a small torii icon represents them on Japanese road maps."

Every year at about this time, the warming temperatures assault the remaining snow, the conflict creating a daily morning fog. As everyone knows, the camera loves the fog, creating with little effort somewhat magical and moody atmospheres, enhancing even in the simplest of scenes.

Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation... “Nature is the source of all true knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity.” - by Leonardo da Vinci
What a contrast we have here, which the daisy as pure life of glowing out in the radiant beauty in the sunshine of delicacy and on the other hand the Iron, just glimmers out the charm of decay of rustic age, that is peeling away and shows us the textures of the sweet life to us!
Many times I have walked by, this spot on the Castle Fields Boat Docks of the Black Country Museum. And this time I spotted these side-by-side together that was bedded in concrete, of an Iron bar standing so proudly with this charming daisy and overlooking the Narrowboats, that lies in the graveyard of the canal boats around here.
The beauty we have photography that can be created by the simplest things, that lies around us and yet we tend to overlook what possibility that arise!
I found these very rare and beautiful wild flowers growing in a bog meadow here locally. I wasnt completely certain what they were at first but I had a good idea. I logged their position and counted them and reported them to the Gov Dept of Biodiversity here who were delighted with my find. They will monitor them and inform the person on whose land they are growing as they are a protected species I think they are one of the nicest things I have found. Arnt the simplest things of the World the best! Maybe we all need a lesson with whats happening. They have now all faded from bloom but I will get to them again next year. We all will, so watch out!. Keep positive, do as yer told mostly and hang on in there!
Big hugs to all my great friends on Flickr!

There are many ways to photograph architecture. I really enjoy shooting and looking at abstract architectural images. But there are other times when architectural photography is all about light in it's simplest form. Shooting good light in London is not always a given, we have a lot of cloudy, flat light days. But occasionally, very occasionally, we get a day like the one in the image above where the light just washes over everything and everywhere you turn your camera is magic.

Patrice

A PLACE WITH NO NAME
The beauty of the world lies not only in these grandiose places that amaze us all.
The most beautiful and touching manifestations are often revealed to us in these simple unpretentious natural harmonies, which are often found in places without a name, away from the busiest roads.
And it is there, far from the crowds and the incessant noise of the world, that we can hear and feel, in its simplest expression, the music of our origins.
Patrice
Observing our World and the beauty that lies within is something that we photographers do often. Things or objects that we see readily we can easily take for granted. Until we train ourselves to appreciate and enjoy the simplest of things we encounter, then we’re apt to overlook and consequently miss out on one real joys of life. Being aware and grateful for even the smallest of our visual treasures gives us an appreciation for, and broadens our desire to seek out and savor more of “Nature’s Miracles.” These colorful miracles are virtually everywhere throughout our day even when we’re not getting around now and we once were. Thanks for viewing my work. In closing
