When I first started to craft, it was with paper quilling. It was fun to go back to this technique. I used the blossom fields 3D embossing folder from SSS on the card and used a tiny but of white pigment ink to make the embossed areas stand out.

Simple Christmas card using the Simon Says Stamp Inside Christmas Greetings stamp set (SSS202028). For the “Triple Play” challenge I added three branches from the stamp set & watercolored them with Pine Needles Distress Ink.

another one of my recent die purchases from simon says stamp. love this birch tree window die. I die cut it from watercolor paper and then added some birch tree accents to the cut with my ZIGs and clean water. the little sentiment is from sketch ranunculus and was stamped on another die from a different SSS die set.

During this lockdown, I've enjoyed spending more time in my garden. I'm a keen gardener anyway and have always found it inspiring when watercolouring. However, during the current circumstances, the garden has provided benefits both mentally and physically and I am relishing each seed germinating, flower bud forming, fern fronds unfurling and the burst of colour as the flowers start to emerge. To celebrate all things floral, I picked out this beautiful set from Simon Says Stamp.

Cool colours version of my CAS stamped watercolouring with Simon Says Stamp products as part of the SSS Flickr group challenge 126 "Crazy for Coloring" in honour of Kathy Raccosin's the Daily Marker 30 Day colour challenge. I used an emboss resist for the small flowers from the Spring Flowers stamp set and then used the Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours in Sap Green, Ultramarine Turquoise, and Phthalo Green Blue Shade along with painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour. The sentiment is stamped with black Archival ink and then clear heat embossed. Clear jewels were added to finished it off. #SSSFlickrchallenge126
