For once, I stamped the flowers on this card in black ink for some quick and easy watercolouring - having the lines so defined means you only need a quick splash of colour! The Florals are from Altenew and then there's some Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design thrown in for good measure :D

I'm entering this into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge (spots and/or stripes). For the card, I used the SSS Vented die and the SSS Dot circles die. I also added a sentiment from the SSS So Deer set, but can't decide whether I prefer it with or without it! (You can see what it looks like without the sentiment on my Instagram feed or my blog).

Embossing folders - do you have any? Do you love to use them? I am really enjoying the new, highly detailed, super deep etched designs of embossing folders that joined the market not too long ago. They are the perfect quick, easy and inexpensive way to take a background up a notch or two.

When I first started to craft, it was with paper quilling. It was fun to go back to this technique. I used the blossom fields 3D embossing folder on the card and used a tiny but of white pigment ink to make the embossed areas stand out.

A little masking, a little Watercolor. Simon Says Stamp Scribble Flowers stamps and dies. The "you" die cut is from PaperTrey Ink but the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp sentiments of You set. Lawn Fawn's Stitched Rectangles were used also.

All supplies is from @simonsaysstamp! Sunflower stem die, burst die, happy die and friend die, all cut from a background I made last weekend with Nuvo Shimmer Powders 😊

Used the big flower stamp from @simonsaysstamp Look for the Rainbow stamp set, colored with @copic_official. Then I used an oval die as a guide for the sides for the window. Then I cut out the window itself with scissors.

Added double foam for the crystals to move better and added a small sentiment on the side 😊

I made this for the current SSS flickr challenge: hearts. I used one of the techniques from Clean & Simple Cards 4 (day 3). I used the SSS Sketch Heart die, Tiny Spaced Hearts stencil and Locking Hearts stamp set for this card. The ink is SSS School House Red, VersaMark watermark ink and Memento Tuxedo Black. Will also be posting this to the current SSS Work It Wednesday challenge: new. I used new goodies and a new technique on my card.

Every summer I think I will have more time without the term-time commitments and every summer I am proved wrong and time flies and before you know it we are looking at the rapidly approaching start of a new term!
