Got a new stamp and inks this week... Hero Arts Tiny Flags and a couple of sets of Shadow Inks. I stamped with Green Hills and Mint Julep off set a bit. I cut with a curved die from Simon Says Stamp. I used a 5"x7" mat from American Crafts to make my card base. I curved the sentiment and finished with a punched butterfly (Martha Stewart) and some gems

It's always good to have a stock of winter thank you cards during the Holiday season and these cute Penguin dies from Simon Says Stamp are spot on for the job in hand 😀 🐧

Wonderful one layer creations for SSSflickrchallenge #36 stampe. I #36 stampe#stamped the #wplus9 chickadee with SSS white pigment ink, then offset with black versafine. Then lightly colored with #prismacolor pencils. Sentiment Is from #simonsaysstamp BLESSED.

This card is for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge 213 where the theme is something new. I used the SSS Winter Flowers stamps and matching dies - the dies are new to me as I just treated myself to them in the SSS Thanksgiving sale.

I have a watercoloured cute critters birthday card on my blog today using the Cat & Dog Dress Up set from Simon Says Stamp 😸🐶 I hope you'll check it out 😃 The card is for a friend's daughter's birthday and in the autumn she is going to Uni to start training to become a vet so these cute critters are perfect! We've bought her a necklace for her birthday as we felt a ring or bracelet risked getting lost inside a ewe at lambing time! 😳

I was checking out Kathy Racoosin's latest 30 Day Coloring challenge and had to try out what she did on Day 1. I used Gina K Skeleton Leaves Amalgam ink on the SSS Marilyn stencil. Used just 3 Copics to color the whole thing, and decided not to add embossing paste. I added the SSS Thanks sentiment and am entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge, Grateful/Thankful.

I love to create watercolour splodges! Whenever I'm starting a new watercolour, I always test out the colours on scrap pieces of card. You'll often see these swatches in my photos as I like to include a little of the evolution of the finished card. The watery pools of colour are so attractive to me, and that is the origin of this card.

When time is short in the summer, a watercolour print is a perfect solution to snatched 5 minutes of creative time in between day trips and having fun outdoors. Not only that, but they are so portable if you want to take your supplies on the road with you. I chose one of the cute designs from the Suzy's Adventurous Watercolor Prints set but there are numerous sets available at Simon Says Stamp including a new Succulents set 🌵
