The New May 2018 Release by Simon Says Stamp.

I'm sharing two cards I made using the brand new "Leafy Frame" Stencil.

More on my blog :)

margecrafts.blogspot.kr/2018/05/simon-says-stamp-new-may-...

In today's video on my blog and YouTube channel, I have a slightly more zoomed out look at mixing watercolours, chatting about paint to water ratio and how to make that work for you πŸ˜ƒ

limedoodledesign.com/2021/04/mixing-watercolours-blog-hop...

Used the alstroemeria die along with the floating leaves stencil and β€˜morning’ pawsitively saturated ink from #simonsaysstamp

Simon Says Stamp - Lots of Snowflakes stamps

Hero Arts - Holiday Sayings stamps

Stampin' Up! - Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint

Today's video is all about easy watercolouring using heat embossing. The raised lines of the heat embossed design creates little wells in which to drop colour. The white outline gives a light and airy feel and negates the need for no-line watercolouring. I added lots of dimension by die-cutting the banner and also a few individual flowers too and then added white embossing paste through a stencil for a subtle textural background. I hope you'll call by to see the video :D

limedoodledesign.com/2021/01/sweet-banner-thank-you-handm...

This card is for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge - die cutting. I used the SSS Pebbles die with a Mama Elephant sentiment die.

This one was totally inspired by a card Laura Bassen did. She said it's a good gateway card into partial die cutting and she was right!! This was super easy & super fun & a great way to dip my toe into partial die cutting.

I have a video today on my blog and YouTube channel sharing two Christmas cards with easy watercolour backgrounds that even a beginner could have a go at!

Back in August, I created a card with a soothing easy watercolour background that I really enjoyed making. In September I was sketching out some ideas, and I really wanted to have another go at this style of background with a Christmas colourway. Time passed by, and it wasn't until I was hit over the head by two lots of inspiration that I finally got paint on paper to create these cards. Firstly, Kristina Werner's Simply Watercolour Christmas card class has taken me right back to my clean and simple roots. Often as not less is better than more! Secondly, I saw a piece by Catherine Cote (creationsceecee) on Instagram that reminded me of my sketch, and I thought the two styles paired well together.
