For this card I used a combination of several stampsets by Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp. For the background I used the Hero Arts "Magical Background". In my eyes it can be waves. Stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder then colored with Pistachio Distress Ink. The fishes are from Hero Arts "Oceans of Joy" and Simon Says Stamp "Under the sea animals". Covered the fishes with a layer of "Wink of Stella" shimmer. And covered them with "Glossy Accents".

Love the fairly new to me SSS set called Peaceful Christmas. I stamped the snowflakes in PTI Winter Wisteria, Lovely Lady & Blueberry Sky. They look beautiful in person--not washed out. The words from the same set were stamped in Delicata Shimmery Silver & I added a dot of silver Pico Embellisher to the snowflake centers. Happy Holidays & TFL!

I have a simple graduation card to share today which is a continuation of my explorations of design principles. I love texture, and I have a video on my blog where I enjoy playing with Nuvo Expanding Mousse to add texture to a watercoloured card. I wanted to create a background to the woman with umbrella image from the Simon Says Stamp set, which had layers of colour, stamping and texture to represent the weather of a rainy day. With COVID-19, this card could represent the current chaos and the unknown but is supported by the strong, hopeful sentiment which we all need presently.

Very simple holiday card. Snow made by embossing paste throw a stencil, added a city scene die-cut. Banks are teared paper and velum.

I'm having sooo much fun playing with the SSS February card kit!! I just love everything about it!! I think this might be my favorite one so far. In addition to the card kit goodies, I also used SSS Clustered Leaves die and the SSS Stitched Circles die. The only non-SSS item I used was the glitter paper and that is from American Crafts. This card is for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #37. My very first entry into a Challenge!! YAAAY!! :)
