This card is made with a die from Simon Says Stamp, Brilliant Gifts, and the sentiment stamp comes from Inkido and it says Merry Christmas in Swedish. I also added some sequins. Read more on my blog.

Embossing folders are fantastic these days, with deeply embossed designs and matching dies. I also like to swipe white pigment ink over the raised bumps to highlight the design further. Oh, and accent with little jewels, too, for a bit of Christmas bling!

For this card, I used the Leaves and Berries background stamp by Simon Says Stamp. I also used the Cz Design/SSS happy birthday die set for the sentiment.

I've been out of town for a bit and it feels great to post a card. This one is for Simon Says Stamp's current Flickr challenge, to use embossing, that can be found here. I used silver embossing powder and then watercolored the circles...so fun!

I made this mixed media card for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge (Anything Goes) and I'm also adding it to SSS Work It Wednesday, I used the SSS Scribbled Flowers stamp set & coordinating dies and for part of the background I used the SSS Blocked Circles stencil. The "hello" is cut from a SSS Brushed Hello die. This card has everything: stamping with pigment ink pads, acrylic paint, gelatos, doodling with my white gel pen, glossy accents plus some natural twine to ground it all - I love mixed media!
