One inexpensive embossing folder, a couple of pieces of thick card and a few Distress Oxide ink pads and you have a card set with a matching folder to gift at Christmas! I don't know about you, but as a card maker, I often get asked by friends and family for cards. A simple gift such as this card set would set someone up with a few card-giving occasions! Using the Simon Says Stamp Peony Bundle embossing folder, I made three cards, a general friendship card, a birthday card, and a sympathy card and the folder to keep them in. Another entry for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge! I paired a big Impression Obsessions stamp with the SSS painted thanks die. And tons of distress ink!!

I've seen this watercolour wash style a lot and like the loose organic feel. This card was particularly inspired by Camilla Damsbo Brix who has a lovely loose, expressive style I'm drawn to. I found this quite tricky - loose is something I struggle with but I'm glad I had a go!

Do you struggle with colour schemes for boys cards? With my son's birthday around the corner, I wanted to create another bunny card for him but was stumped as to what colours of ink to use for the idea I had in my head. That was until the new Wendy Vecchi dye inks for Ranger Ink arrived and I loved their muted colours which I felt suited perfectly without being too pastel and babyish 😃👍🐰

Gina K's recent card inspired my entry for SSS Flickr 203 www.flickr.com/groups/simonsaysstamp/discuss/721577219172... & Flickr Love Handmade Cards 80 www.flickr.com/groups/lovehandmadecards/discuss/721577219.... I used GKD Wreath Template with images from GKD Winter Hugs & SSS Peaceful Christmas--both older sets. The HA sentiment is an oldie, too. The PTI inks are Ripe Avocado, Prairie Grass & Ocean Tides. I used a Sprout Memento marker to color in the leaves which are also covered in shimmer. The gap was covered with Ripe Avocado cardstock & Ocean Tides printed paper. The sentiment & it's vellum mat were die cut with Altenew Nesting Ovals. I used Ocean Tides for the mat & added a couple tiny light green gems for embellishment. TFL

I have a sister, and she means the world to me! I love that a stamp set honours sisters.

Wedding stationery suite using the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit 😃 I was very surprised at myself for not jumping straight away to watercolour the gorgeous flower image in the kit stamp set but was struck by the gorgeous patterned papers when I opened the box 👰 😃

My entry to the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge. I used the Basic Stripes set to create the plaid background, Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the panel, and the Painted Hello die for the sentiment. The only non-Simon product I used were the Stitched Leaves from Lawn Fawn. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the hello and then Glossy Accents on top. It looks really pretty IRL. My favorite thing about fall are the changing leaves. I moved to southwestern Arizona a couple of years ago and I always love going back home to Indiana at this time of year to see all the beautiful color!
