Simon Says Stamp

Really happy with how this card turned out. The card stock was colored using leftover ink from a brayer after I smooth out ink on a gel press. I used the SSS spring boho stencil and white die cuts for the focal point. I'm entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge, Anything goes!

A shaker card using various products from Simon Says Stamp.

I've used the artful flowers and sketchy banners stamp sets along with the Stitched Rectangles and sketchy banners dies - all from #SimonSaysstamp.

Heat embossed panel watercoloured with gansai tambi paints.

Can I introduce the cutest Christmas sweater wearing puppy ever! 🐶❄️ I made him using dies from the new Simon Says Stamp Fun & Festive release. The Picture Book dies have always been popular but there's now bodies and tails too! 😃👍

Trick or treat! Well, it's certainly a treat today with the Waffle Flower + Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember set! I've been sharing a fair amount of watercolour cards so to mix things up today I pulled out my markers and paired it with an ink blended spotlight 🎃‍♂️These colours really pop together don't they 💛 💜

I've wanted this Simon Says Stamp Sweet Tulip die since Diecember. I finally bought it last week and it arrived yesterday! Hurrah! I'm entering this into the current SSS Flickr challenge - anything goes.

Finally a card for the SSS flickr challenge #76: Anything Goes .

Stamp used is Floral Bliss, it's white heat embossed and watercolored.

The sentiment is Painted Hugs, I actually die cut the water color panel, I glue the center pieces of letter "e" and "o" back onto the orange/peach card base. But it appears that it is die cut is glue on top in the photo. LOL

My first attempt at no-line coloring came out a bit different than expected. I started with the big flowers and they ended up a bit too bright and bold, so the rest of the colors had to match. I'm glad I stuck with it though. The stamp is from #sssck June 2017 kit. I'm new to Flickr but I'll try to enter this card into the #sssflickrchallenge. #simonsaysstamp, #sssck, #copiccoloring, #nolinecoloring.

A card for the first Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge.

I used 5 of the 6 challenge colours and 5 SSS products.

I inked up the solid butterfly with Distress Inks and added 2 layers of the overlay die cut in vellum. I coloured the Birthday die cut with Squeezed Lemonade and the Leafy Sprig die cuts in a couple shades of green Distress Ink and sprayed everything that was inky with Perfect Pearls for a little shimmer.

Mixed-media - the term seemed quite frightening to me and brought to mind complex art journalling, and yet when I thought about it, I've been using a type of mixed-media for years. After all, the definition is "more than one medium used in creation". This card, uses ink blending, heat embossing, stencilling, and die-cutting and so does fit the definition!

A card with lots of embossing and lots of Simon products!

My card for SSS Flickr 140 www.flickr.com/groups/simonsaysstamp/discuss/721577124872... with my first time doing emboss resist with a stencil. I made my own stencil from SSS Heart of Flowers die & used a sponge dauber to add Versamark so I could add clear embossing powder. Then I sponged DO candied apple in the center & blended with worn lipstick on the edges. The SSS die doesn't cut an outside edge, so I used MB Grand Heart to die cut the heart shape. The old Art Impression sentiment & the little strips were done with DI candied apple. I dry embossed the white panel, spritzed the heart with shimmer & tied on white crochet thread. Sharing a card I made for the #sssflickrchallenge. The theme is stenciling. Some of the elements in this card came from a #sssck from a few years ago, including the mini stencil I used here with #tonicnuvomousse.
