Created this card with the new Slimline Rainbow stencil from the Handmade Holiday release at Simon Says Stamp. I also used the lovely Stained Glass Greetings stamps and dies and Christmas Foliday dies from Simon. I stenciled the red strips using Festive Berries distress ink.

Hi, all! For this card, I used a variation of the paper piecing technique recently shared by @jennifermcguireink. Rather than cutting the feather from patterned paper, I heat embossed it instead, and paper pieced the flowers back into the design. Feather stamp by @simonsaysstamp, dies by @crafterscompanion, patterned papers by @doodlebugdesign. I’m entering this card in Simon’s Wednesday and Flickr challenges

This is a "new" stamp set to me. This is in fact, the first card I've made using this set. The set is called Time for Wine. This is my entry for the SSS flickr challenge #68. I've also entered this in the NBUS challenge and at the Always Fun Challenges blog. I had so much fun making this card. I used my Faber Castell Polychromos for this card and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I actually made this for my Mom for her Birthday.

Another entry for the "Anything Goes" challenge using my Simon Says Stamp "Leanna" butterfly die. A favorite!

I have a video on my blog and youtube channel stamping out a quick, simple and colourful leaf background with a vellum overlay using the stamp set in the November Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. There are still kits available or equally this stamp set can be purchased separately 😀🍂 Do you like this fall colour palette of burgundy pink, pale blue, orange and grey? I guess it's not traditional autumn colours but it still feels right for the season 🍁
