Last night when we were putting Jessie to bed, she told us she thinks she lost her stuffed dog Luc Dog (named after our old dog Luc) at school. It's her favorite stuffed animal. She loves him like no other toy. She began crying at the thought that she might not see him again. So I made this sign and we're going to hang it at her school. I hope we find him. She will be crushed if we don't.
Ferrari 458 Speciale engine bay complete with signatures at the Ferrari Owners Club meet at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.
Presumably these are the signatures of the Ferrari engineers that built it. Wonder if Ferrari charge extra for this?...Not sure If this option is available with the Focus ST but I’m thinking of asking for it anyway when I’m down at the Ford dealers so I know who to thank when a piece falls off.
By now it had stopped raining. One of the foilbles of this walking area was that there could be several variants of path with same number - sometimes they might have an a,b,... but not always. Also sign times could be a tad random - in one area two places (just one route between them) were indicated as 5, 10 and 15 minutes apart!

Ghost sign for Garlick Bros. Monumental Masons in Prebend Street, Bedford in June 2010. On Google Streetview, the sign is covered over by a banner for an estate agent, but is now revealed for all to see. The actual building itself looks interesting, but constant traffic makes photography difficult.
We spent two days on San Pedro after staying on Caye Caulker for four days. San Pedro was ok - it was much busier and crowded so we weren't too impressed. They did have some nice beaches and restaurants but we definitely liked Caye Caulker better. For some reason I wasn't in the mood to lug the Canon around so I took very few pictures here.

The Corral Restaurant in Victoria,Texas. This one shoots a series of 6 flaming arrows at the building, with the final one igniting a neon flame on the restaurant's roof!
Sign found on a sidewalk electric box: "Welcome to the Belltown Open Air Drug Market. Meth, crack & heroin - discount prices. Open all night."
The Seattle neighborhood called "Belltown" was known for being a seedy crime-infested district up until the mid 1990s, when rising land values started bringing more development in and forcing the crackheads and drug dealers out.
Some people complain about this gentrification. Others complain it hasn't gone far enough.

We spent a lovely morning wandering round the Medieval streets of Winchelsea, on its hilltop overlooking Pett Levels and Romney Marsh. It was a member of the Cinque Ports (5 ports that provided ships and men to defend the south east). The town's main import was wine, and there are still many wine cellars underneath the present village. It's no longer a port, because the river silted up and the sea is now a couple of miles away. The boat at the top of the sign is a 13th century ship.
...with a little Hell thrown in. That's actually snow on the mountains behind it. Which, bathed in a little orange glow, seemed to look like ash. Ah, the City of Dreams.

I was in San Francisco for a few days and now I'm home and into the June work crunch. Hopefully I'll be able to find some halfway decent pictures of San Fran to upload. Didn't get as much photography done as I wanted to, but oh well. More motivation to go back.
