BMW produzierte in den Jahren 1952 bis 1964 die Modelle 501 mit Zweiliter-Sechszylindermotor sowie die Modelle 502 und 506 bzw. 2600/3200 mit 2,6- oder 3,2-Liter-V8-Motor aus Leichtmetall. Die geschwungene Karosserieform der repräsentativen Limousine wurde bald unter dem Namen Barockengel bekannt. Mit Preisen zwischen 11.500 DM (Juli 1956) und rund 22.000 DM waren die Fahrzeuge für die Nachkriegszeit sehr teuer, sodass über die zwölfjährige Bauzeit nur wenig mehr als 23.000 Einheiten hergestellt werden konnten, einschließlich ca. 280 Cabriolets und Coupés mit Karosserien von Baur in Stuttgart und Autenrieth in Darmstadt.

This sign sits over the driveway of a lovely old farm in Warren, Oregon. There is a big, beautiful old red barn and several outbuildings. The lovely old farm house is indeed made with many stones. I'm wondering if the sign refers to "Stone" as the family name, the stones of the house, or if they left out the "R?" Hmmm... ;-)
