Guernsey took part in their first international indoor netball match earlier this week when then took on South Africa in 4 matched held at the Indoor Cricket Centre. A valiant effort by all Guernsey played ensured South Africa were put through their paces however they only one match, that being the mixed six a-side game.
The morning of Monday, October 27, actor Jason Alexander hosted a Vote Early for Change event at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Early voting in Florida began Monday, October 20 and Jason Alexander is encouraging voters to cast their ballot early in Palm Beach county and throughout South Florida. Early voting is available until Sunday, November 2, the polls will all be closed on November 3 and then of course November 4 is the Official Election Day and the last opportunity you will have to express your self and help to select Barack Obama as the next President of the United States.
Since you are looking at these photos, I assume you are voting for Obama, so it is very important to remember that if you really want Barack Obama and Joe Biden to be able to effect the change we all want, then you also need to vote for Democrats down the entire ticket...

Built 1911, 1926. Architects Carmichael and Millspaugh. However, my sources conflict. Others state 1905 or 1906 as the date of construction... they did just celebrate their 100th birthday, so, there you go.
Originally, the theatre was on the first two floors, while the Knights of Pythias were on the third. Still in operation!

A ghost sign for Ozark Airlines on a hanger at O'hare International Airport. Ozark Airlines ceased operations in 1986 when TWA purchased it. The hanger was approximately 1 mile away from where this photo was taken. Highly cropped and sharpened

We went to Baltimore this weekend and sat up on Federal Hill for awhile just watching people. And puppies. T'was loverly.
The woman put the leash back on her dog after I took this pic. I bet she thought I was an undercover fotografer who was going to rat her out to the canine cops. Pshh.
On the way back from Dad's at Xmas, I found this amusing sign in the bus bathroom. What's it stating with the two implied "male" occupants (based on the top hats)? One of my boyfs came to the realization that it means they prefer you to sit to pee, and not stand. But I still think it suggests that men seem to be having sex with each other in there, or "No Taking a Dump While Mr. Peanut Looks On."
The Hamlet of Haverings Grove is an area on the outskirts of Hutton,
just the Brentwood side of the boundary with Billericay.
