This signal shows a special aspect if the corresponding signal (W122/124) is passed at danger. The top and bottom aspects flash red, and the middle aspect shows a steady red aspect, with a STOP indicator across the middle.

Here are the innards of the hazard switch . In the off position, the turn signal gets +12 through this switch.
