Signal Hill in the moonlight.

 

NOTE: I didn't use a tripod on these shots, so I reduced their size so that they look decent, haha!

The Southern Railway signals at Revelo light up for a southbound on the No. 1 track. Like many reminders of the railroad's heritage, these vintage signals are fading fast. Southern fashioned the frames out of old boxcar beams.

Old signalling equipment from the Durham Coast line , shamefully dumped near the old station at Greatham , near Hartlepool , I don`t know if any of them are going to be saved but many of the signal arma are bent and broken .

The Camel

Crawley Signal Box built in 1876 is a Grade II Listed Building. The signal box went out of use in 1982. There is a Crawley Signal Box Preservation Society.

The signal box was built by the Railway Signal Company between 1900-01. It ceased to be used in 1986 and is now part of the station museum.

At the Ayrshire end of the Glasgow - Ayr line circa late 1970s.

A somersault signal near Skegness (Havenhouse?), taken through the train window. There used to be a few of these between Boston and Skegness. I think they were the only ones left on BR at the time. I don't know if they are still there now.
