If you look close you will see the dog that was walking across the water in the bottom right corner. And I thought the background was beautiful.
All of my slow shutter speed photos turned out very bright, I'm realizing it is probably because my ISO is too high.
For this photo the two techniques I mashed together are liquid experiments and high shutter speed. The shutter I used to capture this image is 1/160. I decided this what the appropriate shutter speed for this photo because it is not extremely fast and not extremely slow. I did not increase the shutter speed even more because I did not want to ruin the quality of the picture. If the shutter speed was too low then the food coloring would not be caught in a crisp image. This shot came out exactly how I had hoped it would. I got the food coloring spreading at a good stage of the process because it is spread out enough to take up space in the glass. I feel this image worked out exactly how I had wanted in the end and with a bit of editing I got the blue to stand out. In the end, I think it all worked out and I am very happy with the results.
