Shutter Speed Effect Bracketing: Capturing five photos on a moving subject with five different shutter speeds.
A photograph taken using slow shutter speed to allow for a painterly aspect to appear. Referring to someone's perceived flaw.
Casually watching "Sex In The City" and playing around with the shutter speed on my camera. Quite a cool effect really.
These photos were taken in the Recreation Center on the campus of Eastern Illinois University for DGT-4123 for a Shutter Speed exercise. DGT 4123 is Advanced Digital Photography.(Ryan Bevers)
I really enjoy shooting in shutter speed, however I take the pictures and can’t get them to have much light so I edited them and they still turned out grainy.

Who doesn't love a good gnome shot? I sure do. My favorite elements of this shot are the great focus on the gnome but also having a great background behind him. The flowers, though blurred, add a lot to the shot. Aperture worked wonders for this shot as did trying different angles in order to find one that worked out perfectly. I think the exposure of this gnome shot is also very good as are the colors of both the gnome and the flowers behind him.
There's not a very detailed story behind this gnome but obviously if nothing else he represents a fun class project that got the ball rolling for me in the world of photography.
