I chose this as shutter speed because The higher your shutter speed number the better it will freeze the motion of your subject and the lower your shutter speed number is the subject will most likely be posing for the picture and as shown in this picture I had a lower shutter speed number.
For this photo I was experimenting with shutter speeds and captured this ambulance using a speed of 1/4. I also used an ISO of 100 and a aperture of f/16.0 which was perfect for slow shutter speeds when using a tripod with plenty of natural light. The subject was moving very fast through the frame and this gives it a translucent effect making it almost unrecognisable as an ambulance.
Shutter Speed (1/4)
Aperture at f/8
This subject is overexposed a bit grainy, too much ambient light reflected on her face.
Technical: F/1.8, Shutter speed 1/320, overcast skies, direct light source obstructed, 2:30pm
Composition: Shot close up, slightly to the left from a front on view, focus farther back on spigot
Content: Focus on the screw that is holding the spigot to the wall with the rest of the spigot blurry was done to look at part of the spigot that would usually be ignored but without which the spigot becomes harder to use
