That's the man himself, Mister Quint Captain of the Orca!

This action figure is actually only about an inch and half tall, but he's got articulated shoulders at that!

It's summer and you know what that means: hot weather, lots of ice cream, and Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Here is TK-7707, the Littlest Pikachu, and Iron Man playing Scrabble: The Sharkweek Edition. I decided not to keep score in this game because its sharkweek and the sharks ALWAYS win...even when they are not playing. They're just that good ;)

HAVE A JAWSOME SHARKWEEK!!

reruns during the day and new episodes start every night at 8pm on Discovery!!

Note: Photoshop magic helped add the mising letters in here. As players may well know, Scrabble only has two M's, two H's, and one K per game.

Advertising for the Discovery Channel's "Shark Week",

I couldn't get it during landing, so I had to settle for takeoff, with heat from the runway.

July 28, 2010: A massive Great White Shark has invaded downtown Silver Spring, MD.....or so it appears. This is the second time in four years that the Discovery Channel is promoting Shark Week by erecting a three-story high, inflatable shark on the facade of its headquarters. The float is 446 feet long, and attached to all four sides of the building. The shark's name is "Chompie". Chompie's head is facing the Silver Spring Metro station, so when you get off the Metro you will see Chompie's business end and depending were you are, you will see 0 or 1 or both of his Pectoral (side) Fins. His tail is hanging over Georgia Ave. Finally his Dorsal (top) Fin was atop the building.* Chompie will only be afloat until the 1st week of August. Shark Week begins August 1 The Discovery Communications building is located at 1 Discovery Place, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

*Update: It turns out the Chompie's Dorsal (top) fin broke during the violent storms that passed through the Washington D.C. Metro area on Sunday July 25, 2010. It has been sent out for repair :). Thanks to the Discovery Communications for taking me go up to roof for a different perspective on Chompie :) [07282010-001-C.PS.S5IS]

This elevator is totally jawesome! We produced these graphics for the Shark Week launch party held at the Gansavoort Hotel in NYC. When you step into the elevator it looks as though you are inside a shark cage. Then the doors close and a giant shark is coming right at you! We also produced the window clings with the Shark Week logo.
