This is for some invitations my brother and I are making. I'm definitely not a photoshop master, but I like how it's turned out: kinda cheesy, colorful, and underwater themed!

You never know what you’ll miss if you look too quick, which was the case for one man today. We’ve got your weekly round up of the weird, what, and super spoopy news for this Halloween edition of Bits You Missed!

When is a penny not a penny? When it’s worth over 17,000 American do...

It’s Shark Week! I keep forgetting that I have a TV in my office so I put on the Discovery channel and watched me some sharks. Some of the images were really graphic and I’m surprised they showed them (shark bites).

July 27, 2010: A massive Great White Shark has invaded downtown Silver Spring, MD.....or so it appears. This is the second time in four years that the Discovery Channel is promoting Shark Week by erecting a three-story high, inflatable shark on the facade of its headquarters. The float is 446 feet long, and attached to all four sides of the building. The shark's name is "Chompie". Chompie's head is facing the Silver Spring Metro station, so when you get off the Metro you will see Chompie's business end and depending were you are, you will see 0 or 1 or both of his Pectoral (side) Fins. His tail is hanging over Georgia Ave. Finally his Dorsal (top) Fin was atop the building.* Chompie will only be afloat until the 1st week of August. Shark Week begins August 1 The Discovery Communications building is located at 1 Discovery Place, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

*Update: It turns out the Chompie's Dorsal (top) fin broke during the violent storms that passed through the Washington D.C. Metro area on Sunday July 25, 2010. It has been sent out for repair :). Thanks to the Discovery Communications for taking me go up to roof for a different perspective on Chompie :) [07272010-2312-C.DR.XTi]

His investigation takes him to Guadalupe Island, off Mexico, where he finds the answer.

The panelists include:

- Dr. Chris Lowe, director, CSULB Shark Lab

To promote the Discovery Channel's annual "Shark Week" programming, this Southwest 737-700 has been

decorated with swimming sharks and "Shark Week" titles on the fuselage. The nose badge reads "Still A Bad Week To Be A Seal".

"Eleven hundred men went in the water, three hundred and sixteen men come out. And the sharks took the rest."

Sand Tiger Sharks on the Aeolus

Here's my little drowned rat. He started humping Zya last night! I didn't even know 7 week old puppies did that! Dweezil turns 3 soon and has only done it once or twice. Daxie does it as a show of dominance to Zya and Dweezil sometimes but that didn't start until she was 1 1/2. Crazy dogs! I did forget however how much puppies are evil and I'm gonna say it. Puppies are a**holes. It's a true story!

I gave him bath so he would calm down and go to sleep, apparently he felt that the water wasn't as warm as would've liked and started squealing like a stuck pig it was ridiculous. Then when he woke me up at 3:30 in the morning he had peed in his crate and covered himself it urine so I cleaned his crate and he got another bath (no squealing this time thank god) and then when he woke me up at 6:30 he had peed a little more and sat in it so he got his butt washed. So for a dirty little monster he's very clean and fluffy.

Big thanks to Stitch Out Loud for sending me the pattern for the lettering. I made up the border through trial and error. I used 11ct Aida but wish I'd used smaller.
