Mythbusters filmed an episode of their show South of the Ventura Pier on June 11, 2012. The episode being filmed for Shark Week featured their creation "Sharkzilla" - a 52 foot long mechanical shark capable of tearing a sailboat in half in it's mechanical jaws.

I'm guessing that Shark Week is returning to the Discovery Channel. This is Discovery Communication's world headquarters building in Silver Spring, MD. It's a bit weird to be driving down the road and see this giant shark protruding from the building. I couldn't get a whole picture, but there are also fins on the sides of the building as well as a giant dorsal fin on the roof.
