A view of the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary bus port.
Five years ago only one bus service the 6 (now axed) served this entrance to ARI. Since building the port it is now served by First 3/3A, 14/14A, 16A and Stagecoach 10, 59, 305/25.
Today was the first day of the 16A serving ARI (every 24 mins) having been rerouted away from Berryden although as can be seen from the "Airyhall via Berryden 16A" destination the displays have not yet been updated to reflect the route change.
B10BLE 62137 (X616 NSS) is enroute for Airyhall from Northfield.
About a year ago, I posted a photo here of me wearing the navy "working white" uniform. That was one of the last times I wore that uniform. That uniform, along with the "working blues", have been replaced by the new year-round "Service Uniform", which I'm wearing in this photo.
An action shot from a couple of year's back on a very dull and dark day with the two Mercedes-Benz Arocs 1832K Skip Lorries and their Trailer's, (ML14 GBN & BA14 GBN) working hard. This is now the area in which the new workshop, parking bay's and jet wash area have now been constructed in. Amazing how things can change so quickly in two years!

The work is part of the company’s effort to use advanced technology to help enhance service reliability to customers. The upgrades included installing more resilient polymer fuses, adding larger 10-foot cross-arms to increase wire clearance, and installing fault indicators that help identify problem areas on a circuit which helps speed the restoration process if an outage occurs.

The oldest of four de-icing rigs currently employed by Airline Services at Glasgow, and to me the most interesting by far, is AS03, a double-drive Ford Cargo 2420.
Dedication to service motivated more than 40 students to trade in their first full week of summer vacation to help others. The high schools from across the Diocese of Saginaw are nearing the end of the week-long service camp, Youth Encounter Service (Y.E.S.). Youth and leaders worked on three houses in conjunction with the One Week, One Street urban revitalization effort. Their efforts along Ezra Rust Avenue included painting siding and walls, repairing porches and roofs and replacing windows. Sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw, Y.E.S. allows high school students to learn about and fight poverty through the perspective of Catholic social teaching. Participants stayed at St. Stephen Parish Center in Saginaw, where evening activities included guest speakers, prayer and reflection.
All rocking and ready to go as the third of our five Euro 6 DAF LF Skip Lorries, (DC65 GBN) flies through it's first MOT. Here it is seen after an annual year clean up as it get's ready to go into it's second year of Service.
