The first of two new Euro 6 DAF LF Skip Lorries, (AS68 GBN) with our revised full GBN livery. This is also our first DAF to feature the new front grill that has been produced to enhance the lorries image.

The first weekday of brand new P&R service 59 (the Turquoise Line) operating to and from Poppleton Bar, and it's the time for any teething issues to show up. And it would so seem that for a significant portion of the day (most likely during the peaks) the timetable simply doesn't have enough slack in it - but First York was prepared for this. In addition to all 6 Optare Versa EV's running around on the city's first all-electric bus service, all of the buses being in service at this time, Optare Solo EV all electric battery powered minibus YJ13 HKY has stepped in to bolster the service as I expected it would... the smallest bus to ever operate on a Park and Ride service in York, the demonstrator is seen here at the brand new Poppleton Bar Park and Ride site, along with Optare Versa EV YJ14 BHE (YD63 VCO) behind.
Direct Rail Services Class 37s 37606 and 37609 arrive at Crewe with the 17:54 (10 late) 1Z12 Stockport to Eastleigh "Cheshire cat". Class 57 57309 "pride of Crewe" will be coupled to the rear of the train once the train has come to a halt at the platform.

Griffith Radiator Service in Ontario, California. While I was taking the picture, one of the long-time employees came out and talked to me. It was obviously a neon sign at one time. He said that kids kept breaking the glass tubes, so they finally had them removed. He also said that the radiator used to rotate. That’s kinda cool.

Before New Jersey Transit, public buses, and the Newark Subway, were run by Public Service (yes that Public Service: PSEG). This is the side of a bus from the 1950s found in a Trenton (NJ) yard.
This Giant Eagle was built as a Rini-Rego Stop-n-Shop in the mid 1990s and rebranded Giant Eagle on September 16, 1998. The store was approximately 55,000 square feet. It did not have a gas station. A Giant Tiger, later Gaylords department store was previously on the site. Giant Eagle closed this store on March 4, 2017.

Greater Manchester's emergency services have recently completed a series of joint public order training exercises.
Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service took part in the training to ensure an effective and unified response to major incidents.
The exercises were held at the GMFRS Training Centre in Bury.
The routine training is constantly reviewed to ensure it is of the highest quality and equips officers with the necessary skills to tackle various situations.
