A pair of Virgin Trains Super-Voyagers, 221112 & 221105 get underway from Central Rivers TMD, Barton-under-Needwood running wrong line the short distance to Wichnor Junction where they will take the branch to Lichfield Trent Valley and then onwards to Chester as 5D99.
Visible in the background, running on the same line, is Cross Country Class 170 No. 170636 forming 1D55, the 09:19 Birmingham New Street to Nottingham service on 20th March 2018.

A cancelled job yesterday meant i had a bit of time to kill before going off to do the college run , so i pulled into Warwick services to grab a drink and a sit in the sun. Also at Warwick services was Minsterley motors YN16BNO a Mercedes Benz Atego / Noone Tarus 900 C33F. Photo taken 15/03/17

Griffith Radiator Service in Ontario, California. While I was taking the picture, one of the long-time employees came out and talked to me. It was obviously a neon sign at one time. He said that kids kept breaking the glass tubes, so they finally had them removed. He also said that the radiator used to rotate. That’s kinda cool.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, my HO SSW GP40 7602 assisted SP PA-2 6044 leading a passenger train at the Tri-City Society of Model Engineers model railroad in the historic Niles depot in Fremont, CA. These are both Rapido Models.
The real SSW 7602 was an EMD GP40, SP Class EF430C-1. Reportedly it was built in 1966, serial number 31485. It was upgraded in 1982 becoming 7961, SP Class EF430CR-1. It became UP 1458.
SC51803 leads a 2 car dmu formation awaiting departure from Keighley on 24th August 2014 with the 11.00 service to Oxenhope.
