Last September we went for a week's break by coach in Llandudno. If you walk to the side of the Great Orme from the town you will come to Haulfre Gradens and walking through the paths here you will find flowers and plant to tempt the lens and at the west end you will see views of the Snowdonia hills.
Op 4 september 2021 reed weer een extra containertrein naar Cabooter in Blerick. Deze reed naast de reguliere trein naar Gekkengraaf.
RFO 1605 met vol beladen containertrein van Blerick naar Maasvlakte-West, door America.
Op 8 september 1985 vond in het kader van het jubileum 150 jaar spoorwegen in Duitsland, in Nürnberg-Langwasser een van de jubileumparaden plaats. Tijdens deze 3-uur durende show werden 68 treinen in acht themagebieden en een paar 'gag's' getoond. De vierde trein van themagebied 2: 'Die Eisenbahn erschließt die Region', was een 'Bayerischer Nebenbahnzug', getrokken door loc 98 727 van de Deutsche Museum Eisenbahn te Darmstadt.
Am 8. September 1985 wurde im Rahmen der Feier 150 Jahre Eisenbahnen in Deutschland, in Nürnberg-Langwasser eine der Jubileumsparaden abgehalten. Während dem 3-Stunden Programm wurden 68 Züge in acht Themenbereichen und ein paar 'Gag's' gezeigt. Der vierte Zug des Themenbereiches 2: 'Die Eisenbahn erschließt die Region', war ein 'Bayerischer Nebenbahnzug', gezogen von der Lok 98 727 der Deutschen Museum Eisenbahn aus Darmstadt.
It was suggested that i try this in black and white, so i did. I think it looks pretty OK.

A September 1968 color slide picture of Naharia train station, with an a converted German-made passenger train.
Car Nr. 5 was originally built in Germany in 1956 by Linke-Hofmann-Busch as a driving unit, but was later converted to an ordinary coach before being eventually taken out of service, a few years later. This pretty coach is now on public display in northern Tel Aviv.
In September 1988 I visited Potomac Yard, south of Washington DC. At that time I didn't know yet that this was going to disappear. I got about 40 shots of Conrail, NS and RF&P engines and cars.
On this picture are three GP40's in the "modern RF&P paint scheme. The remnants of the overhead wires are still visible.

September 16, 2015 was a glorious late-summer day for a photo trip through the countryside. This pleasant farm scene is along Ellsworth Road a few miles west of Ann Arbor.

September 22 at 9:38 the sun crosses the Equator heading south to the Tropic of Capricorn, this is my favorite time as the sun makes this trip. Equal night and day as the sun crosses the Equator and then the shortest day when it gets to the Tropic of Capricorn, that is for the Northern Hemisphere.

In de vroege ochtend van 28 september was er een totale maansverduistering zichtbaar.
Dit viel samen met de zgn. supermaan : hij staat dan dichterbij de aarde en is dus 7% groter aan de hemel dan normaal.
Prachtig om de bloedrode kleur van het gebroken licht van de aardatmosfeer op de maan te zien.
De bewolking werkte maar deels mee, we moesten het doen met "gaten" tussen de wolken. Na 4.30 trok het dicht.
Telescoop : ED102mm / f7.0 (720mm) prime focus.
Total eclips of the moon 28 september 2015. The supermoon was 7% larger dan normaal and the red colour was clearly visible.
Observation was hindered by clouds. After 4.30 we wered clouded out.
