Entrance to Manobier Castle.
It is an 11th Century Norman Castle perched on a scenic coastal promontary overlooking Manobier Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales.

This is the bridge at Llanfair Caereinion.
This bridge was opened in 1990 by the now King Charles 111.

The writing shed is close to the Boathouse, [ where he lived, from 1949-1953 ] overlooking the estuary of the River Taf.
Powis Castle Grounds & Gardens, views of The Castle and The Orangery, Hef can just about be seen in the doorway.
We ate our lunch sitting inside.

It's been a Summer of Monarchs. They've popped up almost everywhere from roadsides to rooftops, from parking lots to downtown cafes. But as September arrives, and the evenings get cooler, they won't be here too much longer. This one seemed to be gathering as much warmth as it could, just before sunset, on the top of a corn stalk early last evening.
It didn't take Tigelaar long to discover the window with the view of all the pigeons and he's quite happy with his new catTV.
