HERE I GO AGAIN WITH PINEAPPLE MAN!!
Some of you who have been following me for a while might remember I made a character called Pineapple Man out of a random figure years ago, and revived the character when I reached 2000 followers on Flickr for a contest. Literally like two people made figures (though Lord Allo made some sweet drawings), so it didn't really go well. I'm hoping it goes better this time!
So... Now that I'm at 2K followers on IG I'm trying another contest! Make your own Pineapple Man minifigure to add to the lore! Make something food themed (like an apple or hamburger person), or plant themed, or Hawaiian themed (like a Tiki, volcano, or shark), or come up with your own ideas that might go with a sentient pineapple. Have fun with it!
I'll accept entries (on IG) for the next two weeks (until August 12). Enter with the tag #pineappleman2k and tag me, and at the end of it I'll put them up as a tournament on my story to determine the winner!
Now for some inspiration I made this group with some of my ideas for Pineapple Man characters, from left to right: Freaky Flower, Pumpkin Pete, the man himself, Green Grape Goon, and Banana Man.
Thanks for 2k followers again! I hope we see some cool entries. 😁
Check my Instagram for more info!
Also, if you post entries on Flickr as well, be sure to add them to the Pineapple Man lore group! It's very useful.
It is a rare moment when you're looking at a silverback gorilla, and it's looking right back at you, and you both know that the other is a sentient being. What a stunningly beautiful creature.
"What is it that makes Ravager such a charming sort?
Is it his stinger tail, whose venom burns like the bites of a million fireflyers? His ruthless skill with sword and shield?
Or is it that he has never seen two bricks together that he did not want to blow apart, or a living thing that he did not feel would be better off dead?"
— The Shadowed One
This MOC was inspired by a little theory of mine: what if Ravager's sentient Sword and Shield were in fact cursed weapons that had transformed him into an ideal host?
Perhaps that might explain why Ravager lost his memory, had those destructive urges, and why it was hard for TSO to find another like him.
Maybe this is what he turns into when they're fed enough...

Cham Shan Temple (Ten Thousand Buddas)- The 7 level Asian style building contains precious collections of Buddhist arts and artifacts. Experience the tranquility and spirituality of the temple. They provide free guided tours during summer weekends from June to October. A"World Peace Ten Thousand Buddhas Sarira Stupa Temple" has been constructed on 3 acres of land in Niagara Falls in order to facilitate the expounding of Dharma and the propagation of Buddhism. Spreading the Dharma and benefitting all sentiment beings are the Buddhist Order's vows. Since the appearances of statues and stupas facilitate the generation of the Bodhi-mind, raising temples could benefit sentient beings in countless multitudes. Canada is renowned for its serene and picturesque environment. A Bronze Buddha Statue and a Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara's statue are situated in this property so numerous tourists and devotees can cherish this great chance to make offerings and pay homage to the Buddha.
I brushed him and played Strauss music on my phone for him and that made him eat and relax. He ate very little though. He wanted the apple more than anything else. He fell asleep for 30 minutes.
He wasn’t fed or seen by anyone for 2 days. There was no water either for that time. I had to bring a hose from my garden because theirs was broken.
He probably did not sleep at all. The temperature here these days is between 36 F (2 C) at night and 58F (14C) in daytime. It’s windy and very cold. Police fed him yesterday. His closest neighbors had no idea their neighbor is dead. Now they are traumatized. They stepped in to help with the animals this morning. There were also 3 dogs in the house with the owner. The dogs witnessed her death and lived with her dead for 2 days
From what I heard, the owner rescued Henri 4 years ago from slaughter, after being abused by his previous owners. They used to nail his ears, beat him, starve him, who knows what else they did to him ……
Jennifer at least gave him a safe life, even so it was very lonely for this mule.
He probably chew the wood because he was hungry and he was trying to escape or go help his owner who was suffering and dying in the house. Or maybe because of loneliness, or all the traumas he has experienced in his life
People should not have animals if they live alone. Or they should have friends that are connected to on a daily basis. Animals are not furniture. They are sentient living beings!
Anyway I will take him for a walk tomorrow.

Ramone idles a bit louder than usual as The King* pulls out on to Market Street. He's currently representing Team 51 for the exciting Cruz Ramirez so Ramone isn't sure whether he should roll out and challenge Strip on the strip or not.
After all, he's a cool and breezy, slow and easy low rider...

Observing this macaque in a quiet moment of rest, I was struck by the profound sense of contemplation in its posture and expression. There's something deeply moving about the way these intelligent primates pause and seem to reflect, sitting with such dignity and grace that speaks to our shared evolutionary heritage.
I chose dramatic black and white lighting to emphasize the sculptural beauty of this remarkable face and body language, creating an intimate portrait that transcends the typical wildlife photograph. The monochrome approach strips away distractions, focusing entirely on the character and emotion visible in this peaceful moment.
What captivated me was the universal quality of this contemplative pose - that sense of quiet reflection that we recognize across species boundaries. This macaque's serene composure reminded me of the complex inner lives these remarkable creatures possess, often hidden behind the bustle of their social interactions.
My intention was to capture more than just a wildlife photograph, but rather a portrait that reveals the individual personality and emotional depth of this remarkable animal, hoping to inspire greater appreciation for the thoughtful, sentient beings that share our world.
It was a joy to watch these two. These sentient animals form deep bonds. They show compassion and empathy to one another. We owe it to them to protect them however we can.
We think we are higher than them but we could learn a lot from the animals.
Endeavour ~ STS-134 ~ Launch Sequence ~ 33
A dream come true to see this launch for both Ken & I!! An amazing success of human inginuity and science in action!! What can I say?? Breathtaking and emotional and beautiful!! Survival of the human race depends upon our exploration beyond our planet and the many benefits we reap as spinoffs of what we are learning daily! How can a sentient race decide not to go forward?! I hope we don't stop! The dream is for generations to come- not just our children, but our children's children and on into the future!! Not just this planet, but the universe! :)

The i-star serie starships were supposed to be the newest bestest product of the multiplanetary Fruit company. The starship was managed by an adaptive AI able to calculate jump coordinates and anticipate any astral movement. Of course the AI got corrupted and started hunting and exterminating organic sentient life. Only a few of the ships still exist and are to be destroyed on sight.
There was something completely peaceful, completely centering, completely healing about listening to the sound of prayer flags flapping in the wind. Many times it was the only sound around. I found myself wanting to just stand there, sometimes amongst hundreds of prayer flags, listening, breathing, feeling.
Prayer flags are inscribed with auspicious and sacred emblems, symbols, and texts in the forms of invocations, mantras, and sutras. All of which are prayers and blessings. Prayers and blessings for long life, good fortune, health, wealth, peace. Prayers and blessings for happiness, prosperity, protection from harm, strength. Prayers and blessings for wish-fulfillment, luck, harmony, wisdom, merit, compassion.
It is believed that when the wind moves prayer flags, even with the slightest breeze, these prayers and blessings become activated, and then are carried through the air in a spiritual vibration across the vicinity. Not only does the flag planter, but everything that is touched by the wind, and all sentient beings, benefit from the prayers and blessings that are carried by the wind.
No wonder I just wanted to stand there, surrounded by prayer flags moving in the wind. No wonder it felt so peaceful, centering, and healing to be in the presence of prayer flags.
Prayer flags are everywhere in Bhutan. In front of homes, hotels, shops, temples, monasteries, religious sites, places of spiritual importance. On rooftops and near roads. Down in the valleys, up on the hillsides. On bridges, over rivers, and at mountain passes. Attached to trees, and amongst red rice and other fields. Alongside, surrounding, or attached to chortens and prayer wheels. You see them when walking in the villages, when trekking, and when driving. They are placed where people gather for a special reason. Prayer flags are part of everyday life for the Bhutanese, and part of their Buddhist religion.
Many prayer flags are made out of five colors. Each color represents the five elements on a physical level, the building blocks of both our bodies and the environment. Yellow is earth; green is water; red is fire; white is air/wind/cloud; and blue is sky/space. (Although some sources assign the colors a bit differently.) On a spiritual level the five colors represent the five emotions, the five Wisdoms of Buddha, the five Buddha Families, the five Meditating Buddhas, and the five directions. These five colors also symbolize some of the prayers and blessings above.
There are several types of prayer flags in Bhutan. Lungdhar are square or rectangular in shape, made of the five colors, are connected along their top edges, and hung horizontally or diagonally on a string. In the center of each flag a prevalent symbol is printed, the Wind Horse (Lungta), which is a horse that carries on its back the wish-fulfilling jewel of enlightenment.
Darchor, also made of the five colors, are very tall vertical flags attached to poles planted in the ground. Darchor translates as “to increase life, fortune, health and wealth for all sentient beings.”
Lhadhar, the largest flag, are also very tall vertical flags. They are white in color, usually have no text, and contain ribbons of red, yellow, and blue. Lhadhar are displayed in front of important places, such as monasteries and palaces, and one must be formally dressed to enter these places. Lhadhar represent victory over the forces of evil, and are commonly inscribed with the four powerful animals, the tiger, the snow lion, the dragon, and the Garuda (a celestial royal bird). These animals are also on the four outside corners of a Lungdhar prayer flag, surrounding and guarding the Wind Horse.
Goendhar, the smallest prayer flags, are located in the middle of a rooftop of a home. Rectangular in shape, they are white with ribbons of green, red, yellow, and blue attached to the edges. These flags are blessings for welfare, prosperity, and harmony in the family.
Very tall white prayer flags, Manidhar, are also vertical and attached to poles. They are raised on behalf of a deceased person, as a way of remembering the person who died. It is believed that there are benefits from hoisting batches of 108 (an auspicious number) of Manidhar prayer flags. Although, hoisting one flag is just as beneficial.
Prayer flags are considered holy, and should be treated with respect. When raising or hanging prayer flags, it is important to keep in mind this saying: “May all sentient beings everywhere receive benefit and find happiness.”
While I bought some Lungdhar prayer flags to hang in my back yard at home to remind me of Bhutan, I miss seeing the colorfulness of the prayer flags everywhere. I miss hearing their flapping sound in the wind. And I miss being in their peaceful, centering, and healing presence.
I almost didn't post this photo. It felt wrong to take a photo of the young swan who had just lost his parent and was undoubtedly grieving. He stayed by the lifeless, half eaten body of an adult swan for two days, waiting for it to wake up and care for him again. (Tundra swan cygnets stay with their parents for the first winter, sometimes even two years.) He didn't join the other swans who were in a distance. He didn't fly south with them. He just stood on the ice, looking at his deceased mom or dad. For two days.
Nature is so beautiful, yet cruel and unforgiving.
Grace and Peace little one ❤️
The Anomaly is a paradigm shift
The discovery of an anomaly, truly alien and sentient, demands nothing less than a fundamental paradigm shift in our approach to exploration and discovery. We can no longer suffice with mere observation, passively documenting phenomena from a safe distance. Instead, a dynamic engagement with the unknown is imperative. This requires fostering a mindset of continuous adaptation, as our current frameworks of understanding will undoubtedly prove insufficient. Furthermore, intellectual humility becomes paramount when confronted with a cosmic force that defies our established notions of life, consciousness, and existence. The sheer scale and nature of this entity necessitate a complete re-evaluation of our place in the universe, challenging anthropocentric biases and opening us to possibilities previously deemed unimaginable. Our scientific methodologies, philosophical tenets, and even our societal structures must evolve to accommodate this profound reality.

Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar are the only two places in the whole of Tibet that were visited by Lord Buddha, accompanied by five hundred Arhats. During the turning of the Three Wheels of the Dharma, Buddha Shakyamuni extensively explained the merits of building images. So Indra (the king of gods) offered precious articles of the gods, Ananda (the king of Serpents or Nagas) offered precious articles of the Nagas and Bimbisara (the king of Magadh) offered gold and silver, etc. to the Buddha and requested him to have three images of the Buddha made, as a means of generating merit for the sentient beings in the future. The total distance, covered in a complete circumambulation of Mount Kailash according to the route charted by Gotsangpa, is 52km and takes about 13 to 15 hours. Tibetan pilgrims generally start early in the morning and complete one circumambulation by nightfall. Most Tibetan pilgrims do three to thirteen circumambulations of Mount Kailash. There are some who do 108 circumambulations of Mount Kailash. tibet-incense.com/blog/circling-kailash-and-manasarovar/

Or don't read desc and be forever confused about how much this Tardis doesn't look like the one off the telly.
So, this is my Doctors 13th incarnation, and her Tardis. I remember when I first started writing the series I said I'd go up to 12, then either kill off the Doctor, or some up with some magical way he could live on. But then I came up with a neat torso and leg combo, and before you know it I had a 13th Doctor.
I've no idea how she came to be, I'm thinking that had I got to this point, I would have left 12 on an open ending, like classic who, then relaunched the series with 13 at the helm. She was also one of the first Doctors I made to have her own fully built Tardis, though it was a bit shit due to the constraints of physical building.
Which brings us onto the post itself. This isn't a full look at the 13th Doctors Tardis, I really wanted a decent Mecabricks render, so I had to build it within 1000 pieces, hence why it's just the console and the structure around it. Also why it's so dark.
I have got a full version, but it's over 5000 pieces, so rendering it takes...a while. I had done it through studio, but I got the lighting setting wrong, so long story short, I wasted 5 hours rendering it. Yes, 5 bloody hours. But the build itself is pretty nice, I'll probably render it over the weekend, maybe sooner.
So, some things about this Doctor, and some teasers for her Tardis. First, she like hats. Bowler, top, at one point her Tardis had a whole wall of hats. Though I didn't include him here, her only companion (at least to start) is a robot. He would have been confined to the Tardis until an event made him sentient, after which he would have been given a cloaking device which would have made him appear human.
Let's see, what else....she was a keen gardener, though that sadly didn't make it into her Tardis. Maybe I'll gut it ad make different versions for each of her hobbies...
There's not really that much about her tbh, I didn't bother thinking too much about how she'd act because I didn't think she'd ever get into the story. So that's my 13th Doctors Tardis, at least a bit of it.
As always, please lemme know what you think, comments mean more than likes :D

It is anachronistic and very disheartening that animals are still used in circuses. As long as it is permissible to exploit sentient beings who are very similar to us for entertainment, how can we expect the same treatment not to be reserved for human beings too?
Alexander was a giraffe, who escaped from the circus, he was sedated but did not survive. It joins many other cases of animals who have escaped from the circus and whose escape in one way or another ends in death.
"We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."– Borg Collective, 2373 ("Scorpion")
The Borg were a pseudo-species of cybernetic beings, or cyborgs, from the Delta Quadrant. No single individual truly existed within the Borg Collective (with the possible exception of the Borg Queen), as all Borg were linked into a hive mind. Their ultimate goal was the attainment of 'perfection' through the forcible assimilation of diverse sentient species, technologies, and knowledge. As a result, the Borg were among the most powerful and feared entities in the galaxy, without really being a true species at all.

We're Here are visiting Famous People.
Strictly speaking Optimus Prime is not a person. He is an Autobot. But he is famous.
My kids have always helped me doing Flickr shots; it particularly saves me wrestling with tripods and remotes while wearing props. The Optimus helmet (which has appeared before in my photos) is modelled today by my #1 who is back living at home for a while. The other Optimus also came to live with us after lockdown and stands proudly in my hall. We are not nerds.
I just really liked the look of this tree. It's so alive. Almost sentient. View On Black I am not sure if I was in Hyde Park or Pleasant Valley when I took this, but somewhere in the vicinity.

The Contact Series of LEGO built creations was designed to promote the beauty of all intelligent life forms as extensions of our family – children under the same creative force.
This is a story where human consciousness rediscovers the art of intuition and the subtle – but powerful – forces of the universe. Here, groups of modern humans use ancient rituals which – in combination with expanded consciousness – initiates communication with the great space faring cultures of the universe. Vectoring extraterrestrial beings to their position on earth, these humans invite the visitors to help heal the planet through the ETs' transformative powers and bring the greater Earth community closer to the spiritual nature of the universe.
In the Contact Series, war, self interest and materialistic thinking are products of the less evolved species – such as humans. While there are others like us in the universe, the vast collection of sentient beings spread throughout the universe have either evolved beyond this or never had concepts as these in their culture.
Understanding the spiritual nature and properties of the universe helps societies to unlock powerful forces which greatly improve the quality of life. The forces include out of body travel (astral travel), healing, telepathy with all life forms (including plants and animals), weather control, trans location, space travel, instant plant growth, materialization of objects through sound and thought and much more. Generally speaking, what we perceive as supernatural, paranormal or miraculous are simply expressions of this power. The most spiritually advanced of the cultures have evolved close to celestial.
All advanced technologies dovetail into this spiritual story. For example, traveling beyond home systems is only possible through a combination of advanced electronics and consciousness expansion. Ships are manufactured conscious entities which interface with star travelers. Forged in the astral realm through pure tones, these living trans dimensional transport vehicles fold out of linear space time allowing for movement at the speed of consciousness – which is limitless.
Now for the catch. In order to access and interface in this manner, one must resonate at a high frequency (or of kindness). Malevolent levels of consciousness simply cannot access this kind of advancement. For this reason, interstellar war is not an option. Ships have no weapons. The vast multitude of sentient, space faring races keep track of lower evolved, spiritually empty races that enter atomic and space ages. Quarantines are put up around such planets to maintain peace in local areas of space. Missions to neutralize atomic weapons are part of the quarantine process. And so it is with earth…
Future 'Contact' works will feature celebrations of expanded consciousness, loving and caring moments of ETs, contact events and other celebration from our brothers and sisters throughout the universe.

"Animals are sentient, intelligent, perceptive, funny and entertaining. We owe them a duty of care as we do to children."--Michael Morpurgo
From the series "INTO AFRICA"
"...It will pervade because there is no duality of self and others within the wisdom that does not discriminate among the three spheres. Self and others are inseparable. Love pervades all sentient beings, it pervades both samsara and nirvana. Immeasurable equanimity pervades everything. When the mind relaxes within the wisdom that does not discriminate among the three spheres, self and others have become identical. That is the dedication with the wisdom realizing the purity of the three spheres. The wisdom realizing the purity of the three spheres simply rests within the view, it naturally pervades."
Garchen Rinpoche
From the book "The Commentary on the Essential Meaning of the Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas" on the 37th verse.
Buddhism is a non-theistic religion or philosophy based on variety of traditions, beliefs and practices largely grounded on teachings credited to Siddhartha Gautama — Buddha, "the awakened one", who shared his insights to help sentient beings end their suffering — thus, attaining Nirvana.
