Black Eagles display team. Farnborough 2012. I can't decide if I prefer it in colour or B&W, so maybe this is a good compromise!
A little bunch of carnations sitting in the dining room with a splash of colour!

Well they have all gone now , the blackbirds had a right bean feast on them . The pyracantha once was in a little flowerpot , now it is over ten to twelve foot high and held from spreading because of foot paths on each side .

This was an easy challenge 8) I've got 3 pairs of beautiful eyes right here, the hard bit was which ones to shoot.lol Nicholas is always a willing model so i went the easiest way and shot his gorgeous brown eyes.
Hit L for a real stare, but even better large on white if you've got the time.

While I was at the Eaton Centre, I saw a mother and her child walking around the mall with a balloon. So I kinda stalked them to take their picture at the perfect moment. The kid happened to spot me taking their picture, so he gave me a big smile. I decided to isolate the colour of the balloon because it was the only really vibrant colour in the shot. Do you have any constructive criticism?

I don't know what these concrete edifices are, however behind them in the distance is an old Team New Zealand Americas Cup boat NZL 84.
In 2004 Emirates Team New Zealand head, Grant Dalton, revamped the Team New Zealand program. Following the unfortunate defeat of a design-led campaign in 2003 which was mainly due to deficiencies in the boat, Dalton saw the need for a combination of a sailor-led campaign with a 'good all round boat' as seen in the 2003 America's Cup winner Alinghi's SUI 64. Two new yachts were designed and built relatively quickly and were assigned the sail numbers NZL 84 and NZL 92 respectively. The two new TNZ yachts were among the first of their generation to be built. NZL 84 debuted in the Louis Vuitton Cup Act 10, and beat Alinghi in Act 12.
This is the last rose in the garden resisting to the arrival of cold.
I admire the passion this flower shows surviving!

I've found 7-spotted ladybirds in this knot on a fence post before, so checked it the other day to find these two. I decided to mess about with colour-popping as I thought the image would suit it.. It's not the tidiest; I need to get better editing software (have paintshop pro 5, which I've just looked up---was released in 1998!... definitely time for an upgrade).
