Meditating on the wise words of Pema Chodron...

If there were two (or three) people who were exactly the same – same body, same speech, same

mind, same mother, same father, same house, same food, everything the same – one of them could use what she has to wake up and the others could use it to become more resentful, bitter and sour. It doesn’t matter what you’re given, whether it’s physical deformity or enormous wealth or poverty, beauty or ugliness, mental stability or instability, life in the middle of a madhouse or life in the middle of a peaceful, silent desert. Whatever you’re given can wake you up or put you to sleep. That’s the challenge of now: What are you going to do with what you have already -- your body, your speech, your mind?

In goes the ACE.....

The blues of 'blues and twos'. Seen on a 1970s City of London Police motorbike at Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum.

'Blues and twos' is an English slang expression referring to the blue lights and 2-tone sirens used by emergency vehicles.

The girl is the ever-whirling Ruby, it was very dark in the kitchen and she was moving like a dervish. Processed to b&w and set levels, selected the red shoes before that, added this Skeletalmess texture and then, thanks to Sally's help, downloaded a great number of wonderful exciting new fonts. Please tell me what you think. I know the top is a little dodgy. Do you think it would be better to crop it at the waist or just below the head?

I snapped this from the side of the bus

Not just artificial flowers, but the artificial look of selective colour.

The effect is something I don't usually like so this is the first time I've tried it, but it seemed to suit this image with the bright red of the flowers and their reflection among the stones.

RTW29 seen in Whitehall on route 38. London Heritage Bus Day event. I don't know why a 38 is in Whitehall, they went via Piccadilly.

Flickr, I see you think the UK Prime Ministers residence is in Soho.

These new benches are sitting along the esplanade ~ I have the original that I took yesterday on my photo stream but here's a little selective colouring for the challenge!
