North Leverton Windmill, again, but thought I'd try a bit of selective colour on this one.

(IMGL0700contentawarecropball) manipulation of Peace Symbol statue at the Distillery District in to an orb.

On Wednesday i had the day off school and took a break from lesson planning to make a "bokeh backdrop" for my tiny bear. (He is about 3 inches high). I poked a bunch of holes in a piece of heavy paper and set a light behind it to give some bokeh spots. Just the start of an idea that I may explore further. I am sure I did not "invent" this and there are probably things written about it, but I haven't seen them, so I was kind of impressed with me :-) ! It was FUN>>>

Hang on to your hope! It feels like such a long time since I last shared something here. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Carl for reigniting my passion for photography. For too long, I let excuses hold me back, convincing myself I didn’t have the time, strength nor inspiration to pick up my camera. But returning to this creative space has reminded me just how much I’ve missed it—and how much I’ve missed all of you, my wonderful Flickr friends, and your breathtaking work. As I reflect on this journey, I wonder if I will be remembered. Regardless, it fills my heart with joy to be back among you all, sharing in our collective love for art.

Hope it's more your cup of tea Philip.

Lady in red, Chris de Burgh

"The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek,

There's nobody here, it's just you and me,

It's where I want to be,

But I hardly know this beauty by my side,

I'll never forget the way you look tonight"

My daughter and I went to Butterfly Gardens today, with weremakingit and her daughter Hannah. We had lots of fun taking pictures, of course!

York railway station is on the East Coast Main Line in the United Kingdom, serving the city of York, North Yorkshire. York's station is a key junction approximately halfway between London and Edinburgh.

The present station, designed by the North Eastern Railway architects Thomas Prosser and William Peachey, opened on 25 June 1877. It had 13 platforms and was at that time the largest in the world. The station was designated as a Grade II* listed building in 1968
