At this time of year, the flag is often the only spot of colour in the otherwise drab bleakness of Tunney's Pasture.

Used a little Colour Selection here. This is my little WiFi Mouse with an Owl face on it. We use it for the laptop.

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.

Turquoise doors, Bootham, York.

Today in the garden, Our rambling roses are giving up their summer faces. Still attracting the odd insect or two and the odd photographer LOL. Happy Sliders Sunday all xxx

Paid a visit to the arboretum and found some colour left on a few trees. This tree was full of white cherry blossom in the spring.

Pushed the sliders a little for Sliders Sunday!

...to nurture the creative mind it must first be clear of clutter and noise

I have missed you all...it's been 2 months since I last posted, things have been busy...and my creativity has been zilch, a pit of nothingness. And posting and running was beginning to make me feel guilty. Feels like I've been in hibernation for a while. Finally I got a little clarity out of my camera today, maybe it's the Spring in the air, maybe it's the short road trip out to Bowral for their annual Spring Tulip Festival but I finally got that buzz when I saw the shots on my screen. No pressure to comment because I am still not 100% back to Flickr...just see and enjoy...I will try to be more present for this last quarter of the year.

Hopefully I can be back posting, visiting and continue to complete my projects...100X & 100 Flowers.

Each Brick weighs 5 kg. That is 16 brick, 80 kg on his head. And that is going to the Fifth floor of the Building at background , through stair.

Will get Rs/-5 ( 1/12 of $ ) for one trip.

When you want to be on your own Ullswater in the Lake district

Taken at Lavenham, Suffolk, UK.

During the reign of Henry VIII, Lavenham was the scene of serious resistence to Wolsey’s ‘Amicable Grant’, a tax being raised in England to pay for war with France.

However, it was being done so without the consent of parliament. In 1525, 10,000 men from Lavenham and the surrounding villages took part in a serious uprising which threatened to spread to the nearby counties of Essex and Cambridgeshire. However, the revolt was suppressed for the King by the Dukes of Norfolk and Suffolk, with the aid of local families.

¿Acaso no duele estando ahí?

If I should die, think only this of me:

That there's some corner of a foreign field

That is for ever England.

A view of the rather striking Canary Wharf underground station in London. It was designed by Sir Norman Foster.

It does have something of a sci-fi look and certainly offers a lot of photographic potential.

Keep uploading before afters, this time I wanted to present one of my minimalistic pictures which was exhibited at BezpalaBrown Gallery and was quit successful.

This is a Single Image. No Image manipulation except the use of Selective Colour. The surrounding area of the Rose is actually branches & leaves. The effect is the result of shallow DOF at f/2 aperture.

I will post the original colour image later.

The famous 'Out of Order' Sculpture in Kingston, given a selective colour grunge treatment, to show the damage inflicted on it by people who will insist on climbing on it, despite signs saying not to!

Keep to the left - seen at Moor Street Train Station.

Taken at the Goodwood Revival event just as the doors had opened and before the crowds arrived. I used selective colouring to accentuate the red truct and decoration on the Merry Go Round
