Just before I head Iceland, a couple of us hit Wales to try this huge industrial wasteland again after being rudely removed by secca on previous attempts! Needless to say we won this time! : )

That said we only covered so much, the place is an industrial behemoth!

Painting on the side of an old building in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The building currently houses a Schwinn Bicycle store and they also sell Boy Scout supplies. I do not know how long this has been on the side of the building but it is very aged.

She was sitting in the sun just relaxing. Then she got an itch and proceeded to scratch herself quite vigorously.

Notice the old beaver cutting in the background.

I attended a "Wings and Wheels" venue yesterday, which featured vintage aircraft and cars. Unfortunately, one of three Harvard trainers had come in for a landing and went off the runway. There was a crosswind and bystanders who saw the crash said the plane drifted off it's approach onto the grass, where the wheels caught something and flipped it over. Thankfully there was no fire and both pilot and passenger walked away with only cuts and scratches.

Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch.

We passed these two seals on the way back from Krossneslaug to Djúpavík. We just had to stop. My wife loves seals, we stop for all of them :-)

This Great Egret captured at Fort de Soto Florida a wonderful spot for Shorebirds and also a host of other species which I will be posting soon. Unlike the UK I was sitting nearby under the shade and this beauty landed nearby and had a nice scratch!

Not really a great capture but so typical for Fynn in all his craziness. I haven't had much time to take photos of the cats recently, too much work and too busy with preparations for Christmas. Whenever Fynn sees me with a camera these days he is somewhat overexcited. :)

Something a little different with this Kestrel, I caught her whilst she was scratching which makes for a more unusual pose I think.
