210/365 - July 29. 2010: Scratching Lounger ...
We somewhat recently got the cats this scratch lounger. It has scratching surfaces under them, but also on the sides, since Yanni (pictured) is a lazy scratcher. While they do like it, Yanni prefers to lounge on it, than scratch. But ... I guess that's better than not being interested at all. ^_^
(Post processed in Lightroom using preset "B&W Creative - Antique Light" w/fill light and vignette.)
Incidentally, I found some scratches that I drew probably N (N>3) years ago on paper back of a notebook.
Those might be some doodles on a boring meeting, or the simple imitations of any cartoon series characters, I'm not sure already... anyway, uploaded here.
Dartmoor pony having a mighty good scratch against a standing stone on Dartmoor. This is a quite splendid prehistoric stone circle - and the only one on Dartmoor that hasn't been partially reconstructed at some point. I suspect generations of ponies have used it to scratch their ample rumps on.
