Scanner powered and plugged in can be seen ib some views in Vista, but not recognised by other processes.. Unistalling the scanner drivers, rebooting the computer, reinstalling the scanner drievers then rebooting the computer made no difference....

mmm the glass gets nice and warm, maybe i can nap here now

I decided to give the scanner a bit of an outing as I really don't use it very often and was intending to revisit some old black and white negs from a million years ago but instead decided to play with scanning some 3D objects.
