I was lamenting the demise of public xerox machines. Then I realized my inkjet printer can make copies on the scanner bed.

I'm going a bit crazy. Thankful my inkjet is a bulk ink printer.

A black Canon G3200 Pixma printer sits on a wooden desk, with a rainbow of colorful slinky stacked on top of its open tray. The slinky creates a vibrant contrast against the printer's dark surface. Several printed photographs are scattered around the printer, featuring close-up portraits of a person. A pair of scissors and a pen are resting in a cup next to the printer. In the background, a lamp casts a warm glow on a wall adorned with drawings and artwork.

Overall, the image captures a moment of everyday life and creativity, with a playful touch added by the colorful slinkies.

Panasonic Expands into Personal Document Scanner Category with Two New Models

For my first assignment for Photo 112 Creative Explorations, we used these badass scanners to make images. It is amazing all the stuff you can do with them. For this one, I made it scan with the light on the top (transparency mode) and negative for the colors. The objects I used were a domo tag, ribbons, a slinky, 2 bead necklaces, and a crinkled up bag of maple syrup. I laid a sheer scarf over the top of it. I have so many different images from this, I made 30 because it actually takes kind of a long time to do. This is just the one that I chose to submit for the assignment.
