Giocando con lo scanner. Purtroppo i ravioli e il burro non possono essere scannerizzati...

One of the techniques I learned in our most recent closeup class was scanography – using a scanner to create art. This is a geranium blossom, which I moved while the scanner was scanning.

I see a lot of weird faces in it. Do you?

I was over at the wetlands on Sunday. Things weren't very active - although I spotted a far off egret - not common there, but too far off to get a good capture. Then I spotted this beautiful red tailed hawk circling in the distance. To my delight, the circles kept getting closer and closer until it was overhead. Best series I've had of this wonderful bird (at least to date :) )

Teddy having fun with the scanner.

Así seria ahora mi examen de Percepción , creo que no era como el anterior.

Caution!!! Please, remember that this is wire that will be placed directly against the scanner screen. I'll leave it to your own imagination on the damage that that could do. I would strongly hint that might not be best to try on anything but some scanner that is on its last leg.

Somehow my scanner software converted the negative into this "sketch". Interestingly enough, the rest of the strip came out as "photos"... I attribute this to being new to VueScan - and will try again...

I finally found my scanner cords so some of you may notice my images may start appearing brighter and more transparent again.

Dieses Bild wurde mit einer Android-App zum Scannen von Dokumenten fotografiert. Direkt und ohne Umweg über einen Druck. Es erinnert mich an frühe Experimente mit dem Fotokopierer.

This picture was taken with an Android document scanning app. Directly and without going through a print. It reminds me of early experiments with the photocopier.
