neglect a school
drain its funds
leave its faculty without support
keep texts and materials out
give every contract to the lowest bidder
till the shoddiness falls in on itself
and then declare the school an ailing body
and better off centralized
so that once the kids have bussed 45 minutes each way
every morning and every afternoon
you can start the neglect all over again...

Ispovest heroine Srpskih oslobodilackih ratova Milunke Savic u interpretaciji glumice Jugoslovenskog dramskog pozorista - Vesne Stankovic.
Biva ranjavana cak devet puta, u sedam godina ratovanja, dobija cak dvanaest medalja, a posle demobilizacije radja devojcicu, usvaja jos tri cerke i vise od tridesetoro dece hrani, podize, skoluje...

yes, he made the save. I wish I shot this slightly slower to get the movement of the ball from right to left; but then again I'd be upset that the goalie was blurred, so I'll take it. lol
The POINT. Is that the love of JESUS symbolized by the heart, is not only what caused Jesus to go to the cross, but love held him there. He sacrificed himself, taking our punishment on himself, dying in our place. Which is what took away not only our sins but the sins of the whole world. Once and for all, past, present and future, and lets face it, when Jesus died, all of our sins were in the future. Which is the first half of the gospel.
The other half is that he was buried, which is the proof of death, then raised to life again on the third day. And that same life that raised Jesus from the dead, will give SPIRITUAL life to you as well. If you place saving faith in HIS FINISHED work. Notice I didn't say, "your finished work". See the only work that God requires is faith in JESUS, not you and whatever it is you think you are adding to HIS FINISHED WORK. Faith pleases God, nothing else does.
You may not even realize that YOU were born spiritually dead. But we were all born in Adam, spiritually dead. When Adam died that day in the garden, he died a spiritual death, and death is the absence of life, and the life of God departed from Adam that day.
Now Jesus is offering all of us, his life if we but place saving faith in his death for us, and his resurrected life. Realizing that Jesus is God in the flesh. If you place faith in Jesus and believe in your heart that he was raised from the dead, he will come to live his life, in and through you. All we must do, is ask. It's a matter of faith. If you lack anything, the Holy Spirit that comes to live in you will guide you into all truth. And he will be with you forever. It's all Jesus, and NONE OF OURSELVES.
------------------------ JESUS ✝️ SAVES -------------------------
Grace and Peace to you from God our Father in the Lord Jesus Christ, FOREVER! Through Faith in Jesus!

On September 15, 1942, not far from the village of Semiluki, a simple Russian woman, Praskovya Ivanovna Shchegoleva, performed an unprecedented feat. At the cost of her life and the lives of her children, she saved the pilot of a downed Soviet Il-2 attack aircraft, Mikhail Maltsev, from death.
On September 15, Praskovya Shchegoleva, along with her young children, nephew, and elderly mother, were digging potatoes in their own garden in the village of Semiluki, occupied by the Nazis. Suddenly, a Soviet plane appeared over a hill on the outskirts of the village, sharply descending. And indeed, a few moments later, the plane caught the edge of the hill, slid on its belly, stopped right in Shchegoleva’s garden, and caught fire. Praskovya and her family quickly ran to the burning attack aircraft, threw earth on it and helped the pilot, who was slightly wounded, to get out. Shchegoleva immediately sent her children for men's civilian clothes, and she quickly explained to the pilot how to get out of the village. As soon as the pilot managed to hide at the house, the Nazis drove up in a car. Praskovya Ivanovna warned her family that she would answer all questions herself. Shchegoleva answered all the fascists' questions in monosyllables: "I don't know, I didn't see." Then the Germans beat her eldest 12-year-old son Sasha and locked him in a barn, threatening to burn him alive. This did not help. Then the Germans began to set shepherd dogs on the young children and Shchegoleva's old mother. This also had no effect. Then the brutalized fascists shot the children in front of their mother, and then killed her too. Praskovya Shchegoleva's four young children, the youngest of whom was 2 years old, her 5-year-old nephew and 72-year-old mother, perished together with her. Mikhail Tikhonovich Maltsev, a pilot of the 825th Assault Aviation Regiment of the 225th Aviation Division, who was saved by Shchegoleva, actually managed to get out of the village, but was unable to cross the Don. He decided to hide in one of the abandoned houses, and at night to get a boat and try his luck the next day, but was handed over to the Germans by one of the local residents who noticed him. Maltsev ended up in a concentration camp, but survived, returned home to Bashkiria in 1945, and was awarded the Medal "For Courage" and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. The following year he came to Semiluki to pay his respects at the grave of his savior. That same day, he identified one of the women working in the collective farm field as the man who had betrayed him to the Germans... For her feat, Praskovya Ivanovna Shchegoleva was posthumously awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree. The story "Praskovya" by Yevgeny Veltistov and the poems of Mikhail Isakovsky are dedicated to her.
