Ispovest heroine Srpskih oslobodilackih ratova Milunke Savic u interpretaciji glumice Jugoslovenskog dramskog pozorista - Vesne Stankovic.
Licna ispovest u prvom licu zene ratnika o zivotu i smrti , ratu, Srbiji i njenoj istoriji, iz ugla zene borca koja je dobila mnoga i najvisa odlikovanja ( orden za hrabrost, Karadjordjevu zvezdu sa macevima, medalju Milos Obilic, jedina zena u svetu odlikovana Francuskim Ratnim krstom sa palmom, dva ordena Legije casti...)
Prica pocinje od njenih devojackih dana, koje provodi u kopaonickom selu Koprivnici, sa dve sestre, roditeljima i bolesljivim bratom. Celog zivota ima izrazitu potrebu da zastiti slabe i ugrozene, stoga u Prvi balkanski rat odlazi umessto brata, preobucena u muskarca, pod imenom Milun Savic. Neostrasiva u svakoj borbi, najvise poznata kao bombas, biva ranjavana i njena tajna se otkriva. Vojska staje uz nju i iako je u suprotnostima sa vojnim pravilima, zadrzavaju je u jedinici. Biva ranjavana cak devet puta, u sedam godina ratovanja, dobija cak dvanaest medalja, a posle demobilizacije radja devojcicu, usvaja jos tri cerke i vise od tridesetoro dece hrani, podize, skoluje... Visoko cenjena od strane francuskih vojnih velikasa Fransea De perea, Sarla de Gola i Viceadmirala Geprata, u Srbiji zavrsava kao cistacica u banci, a nocu sije vojne uniforme i podize desetinu i desetinu dece iz kopaonickih sela.
Sama za sebe bi rekla da je ovo - ispovest o zivotu od prve puske, do prve metle.

The most famous graffiti in Amherst! "Save the Drake" and "For Willy For Humanity!" have graced the side of the Amherst Cinema Building since 1986. They were spray painted on the building when it was clear that the Drake hotel and bar up the street were about to close.
The Perry Hotel opened in the early 1900s. In 1938 the building was sold and renamed the Drake Hotel. A few years later the new owners opened up a rathskeller in the basement. The rathskeller became a popular hangout for students at Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts. The bar was managed for decades by Willie Whitfield, the "Willy" of the graffiti. Today the building that housed The Drake is now an apartment house called The Perry and a new music venue called The Drake has opened up around the corner.
The Amherst Cinema Building, which is not connected to The Drake except for the graffiti is home to Amherst Coffee+Bar. I stopped to get an iced tea before heading out of town. There were some good looking gluten-free cookies in a display case. I made the mistake of asking what flour was used to make the cookies gluten-free. I didn't really care, I was just making conversation. The aggressively sincere barista didn't know. He called over the manager. She didn't know either, but suggested I return the next morning when the baker was in and they would definitely know.
The barista then handed me my iced tea which was the color of a latte. I mentioned that I ordered iced tea not iced coffee. He assured me it was tea, the color was because it was "nitrogenized" and it would take a few minutes for the bubbles to dissipate.

Filfla is an uninhabited and somewhat foreboding rocky islet, 5 miles offshore and clearly visibile from the soutwestern cliffs of Malta. It has always been treated as the archipelago's unwanted orphan, until in 1970 it was declared a nature reserve.
Filfla is the unhappy victim of the nasty (and absurd) legend of Il-Maqluba: the evil inhabitants of Il-Maqluba so displeased God that he tore the ground from beneath them and sent them crashing through to hell. So base were they that not even hell could hold them, and in desperation the devil threw the depraved sinners (and the earth, trees, etc.) out of hell and back into the night sky. The tangled mass of rock, vegetation and godless souls landed in the sea and thus created Filfla. From such an egregious birth as that, its fate was set.
The next, and more tangible, calamity to befall Filfla came at the hands of the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force, who used it for target practice. For more than 25 years they bombed it in the full knowledge that it was home to the only known colony in the world of a large dark green and red spotted lizard (acerta muralis var. filfolensis). Miraculously, the lizard and a rare species of Mediterranean stormy petrel that breeds on the islet have survived, albeit in greatly reduced surroundings.
The waters run very deep around Filfla, which was used as a refuge by local fishermen until the Second World War. The parish priest of Zurrieq would journey out once a week to say Mass in the small medieval cave chapel. Some of the delicate icons have been saved and can be seen in St. Catherine's in Zurrieq. Today it is forbidden to land, moor a boat or dive near its peaceful, rocky shore, as not all the British ordnance detonated upon impact.

Normalmente um "Save the Date" é usado para convites de casamento, e por sinal são bastante originais, mas eu resolvi pegar na ideia e usar como convite mas para... o Dia dos Namorados. A ideia é simples. O cartão é tripartido. Na frente a frase que indica para que serve. Ao abrir encontramos o calendário (neste caso Fevereiro com o dia 14 bem assinalado) e ao abrir todo a mensagem pessoal escrita (aquela parte que vocês nunca vão saber =P ). Depois... é só aproveitar o dia ;-)
Usually a "Save the Date" is used for wedding invitations, and by the way they are very original, but I decided to use this idea as an invitation to ... Valentine's Day. The idea is simple. This is a three parts card. In the front the "Save the Date" (in this case it’s in Portuguese). When you open the card, you’ll found the calendar (in this case in February with the 14th well indicated) and all opened the personal message written (the part that you never know = P). After that... just enjoy the day ;-)

When this was Albertsons they had actual bakery goods in both cases and the cases were actually FULL of baked goods. Save Mart as of late used both cases but did not fill them much.
Now we see they have closed one case entirely and put cake decorations there. What kind of a stupid store puts cake decorations in a service bakery? People who go to a service bakery want someone else to decorate the cake, they are not interested in decorating a cake. People interested in decorating a cake go to the cake mix aisle.
And over on the right where there is now a random assortment of senseless crap used to be the bagel cases when it was Albertsons. For a store that has had so many competitive closures nearby it amazes me Save Mart runs it in this manner constantly scaling back departments like this.
