Yesterday I ran 5k, and then went swimming, then my legs walked me right to the LCBO (then gave out).
Might be running an official 5k race (seems silly to call it a "race") later this month.

Another day down. Can't say this photo was planned or hugely inspired except for a desire for a glass of wine.
After a huge effort the hospital bag is pretty much 90% sorted. There's still so much to do in the house and we are getting some pretty broken night's sleep. The wife's belly is pretty huge and it's kind of a bit of an operation for her to roll over in bed.
Originally I processed this photo in the sepia method I learned on Friday with the intention of having it in black and white. Then I accidentally turned off the desaturated layer and found a slightly colour boost version which I thought was perfect.
Off to give wifey a quick massage and hopefully be able to sleep through the night!
P.S. Fun note about this shot - the flash was sitting on top of my rice cooker.

Here's my first attemp at white field photography and I think its not to bad, light tent with off camera flash [CLS] placed at the back off the tent and black foam board each side of bottle to shade a little black on the shoulder of the bottle. Living in sauvignon capital of the world [ Marlborough. New Zealand ] there's no shortage of wine bottles to photogragh.
