I have two KenRidge Wine Kits that just refuse to clear. I have made many in the past and never a problem but now one Pinot Grigro and one Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, both with issues! It is now more than a month since the scheduled bottling date! The strange thing is they do start to clear from the top but then any slight change in temperature seems to stir up a haze and we're back to square one! They say patience will win through! I can wait!

Nose: Intense citrus aroma with faint herbal notes.
Palate: A striking mineral character surrounds the palate, well harmonized with elegant mint and pepper aromas. A well-balanced acidity contributes to a smooth, persisting finish.

A very good year, from a decent producer, this Sauternes had plenty of orange marmalade character, honeyed notes, and candied pineapple. Looking quite developed on the palate but this may have been due to cork's variable oxygen ingression.
A wine symbolized by a bicycle and ruled only by nature’s cycles.
An organic wine must come from vineyards certifiably farmed without the aid of any chemical or synthetic products. Fertilization as well as prevention and control of possible plagues or diseases are tackled only with natural techniques and resources such as flowers, grass, geese and the introduction of beneficial insects.

This exquisite range’s name was coined after those 20 initial barrels. Pinot Noir was followed by Cabernet Sauvignon in 1997, Merlot in 1998, Chardonnay - Cono Sur’s first ultra-premium white wine - in 2002, and the latest member of the family, Sauvignon Blanc, in 2005.

Savigny-en-Sancerre is a small town (pop 1000) in the Sancerre area, probably cultivated already by the Romans, as the sloping hills provided grapes with enough sunlight and warmth to fully ripen. Sancerre wines were very popular, - Savigny had a population of about 2000 - until in the late 19th century, the phylloxera epidemic devastated the area. The vines were replanted with Sauvignon Blanc because they grafted better onto the American rootstocks. In the late 1970s and 1980s, a wave of quality consciousness helped elevate the reputation of Sancerre as an elegant white wine, often compared to the neighbouring Pouilly-Fumé.
Saint-Symphorien, located in the centre Savigny-en-Sancerre was the church of a priory, erected in the 12th century. Nave and choir are still from the 12th, while the arms of the transept and the apses were redone in the 19th century.

Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I have been selling online for years and I absolutely love it! It has allowed me to sell my original paintings and prints to thousands of collectors worldwide. I have a Masters degree in Fine Art from The University of Tampa, but consider myself self-taught. True talent is revealed not through schooling but through painting.
Our Sauvignon Blanc grapes. You can see that this year we have some 'rot' in some of our grapes. These will be sorted' destemmed and then crushed. Because there has been so much rain this year there are many more grapes affected by fungal diseases. Photo by Natalie 14/02/2011

Pétanque can be a relaxing game. If you are anything like me – and for your sake, I hope you’re not – I like to start off any game just feeling my competitors out. Checking out their skills, seeing if they’re going to lay it all on the table or just waltz into it like I do. This Sauvignon Blanc is designed for those of you who are going to waltz into it. It gives you a wine that you can enjoy (quaff?) while you systematically organize your plan for Pétanque annihilation.

Susan Watson busily takes notes on the new Sauvignon Blanc releases so she can best serve her customers.
I marinated the lamb steaks in Sauvignon Blanc and Lemon Juice, with many cloves of crushed garlic, rosemary, tarragon, sea salt, black pepper, and shook it up before putting it in my fridge. The rice was made with chicken boullion, veggies, and a bunch of other spices, including Adobo. I don't remember exactly what I used, though it was quite good.
