I now know that hey are very good climbers. He (?) was approximately 8 meters high in that tree, having found a good stable platform.

One of the two ocean pools located in Kiama in New South Wales. The east coast abounds in these tidal pools and they make for wonderful elements to be included in coastal compositions. I called this photo "Safe Heaven" because these pools give swimmers great protection from the rough seas (and sharks).
Safe to assume a VVIP was visiting the Mayo Clinic.

Processed with a roll of ECN-2 film that left 2 other rolls of fuji 200 color shifted, stained, and otherwise twisted.
If you squint you can also see concentric purple circles from my autofocus camera lens capturing the negative. It's too reflective, or it in combination with thinly developed Fuji 200 is too reflective. I had to switch to a manual lens to improve scans.

Five photos posted just to record another quick drive out of the city, on 10 February 2023. I should have taken a photo of my car at the end of the day - totally covered in dried mud spray! Had no choice but to go to the car wash, as it was not really safe to be on the roads with a car that was about the same colour as the roads. Needed to be more visible.
Yesterday, 12 February, I made a longer drive, this time NE of Calgary. It was such a beautiful day and our weather forecast shows more snow coming soon. No luck with any owls, but I did find a number of barns that I had seen previously, and a couple of 'new' ones. Can't believe that I haven't even downloaded the photos yet.
The only birds I saw were a couple of Ravens and maybe three or four Common Magpies. Whenever I have been out this winter, the birds seem so few and far between.

Aruba, a small island in the Dutch Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela, has a dry climate, sunny beaches and gentle waves. Constant winds produce a cool breeze and tilt trees (like the famous divi-divi) to the southwest. The European influence appears in the architecture, characterized by the Dutch gables painted in tropical pastel tones. This is also evident in the coexistence of the local language, Papiamento, with English, Dutch and Spanish. The country does not have fresh water but it has desalinated water of excellent quality and you can safely drink tap water. The small country is a major producer and exporter of aloe vera (aloe vera) and is strong in the financial and fishing sectors, in addition to logistical services in the oil sector. It is a small island with a lot of sun and wind all the time, which favors the country's main economic activity, tourism. Its area is 179 km2 (69.1 mi2) and is densely populated by approximately 110,000 inhabitants (2020 Census) and has a per capita income of just over US$25,000 p.a. The country's capital is Oranjestad.

The steam barge LUX was built and engined by W. J. Yarwood & Sons in Northwich for Lever Brothers. It entered service in 1950, and carried a variety of edible oils in two deck mounted tanks.
In 1966, the steam power-plant was upgraded with a Kelvin T8 diesel engine. As some cargoes required heating, a small steam generator was installed, feeding heating coils in each bottom of each tank.
Renamed to SAFE HAND in 1975, and becoming part of the National Historic Fleet in 1998. this barge remained in commercial operation until 2018. Currently in private ownership and undergoing restoration
